And i can get a secondhand 1 if you need it!

If it doesnt bugger up when you undo the bolt at the meterhead,it cant be the injector.
-
also standard corrado has 136bhp where golf with 50mm standard has 139bhp

What is your 16v spec & how much power does it produce?

:agrue: I want a 2l! mines only puttin out 138lbsft. belfastfumanchu, theres a bit more to it than that.System pressure needs to be set first at about 5bar,then control pressure needs setting to 48psi when warm. This is measured on the return pipe from wur to meterhead. Gettin car set to 2% co is easy and advancing the timing is easy aswell. -
You got it round the wrong way! The 50mm comes to life around 5k and is best suited to the 1.8s.People forget about the plenum size rather than the runner size. The 50mm has a small plenum suited to the 1.8s and the 42mm has larger plenum to suit 2l. Im now using a flowed 50mm on mine.

Since having mine tuned ive fitted a v-sam,5omm manifold, webber firebreather and larger diameter exhaust so i would hope ive gained a bit more since the tune! Stealth RAISE The system pressure on the injection by adding shims to the meterhead, advance the timing to approx 7 or 8 degress, set co level to 2% then the secret is in the wur.Basically theres a tamper proof cap on the back of the wur that can be drilled out to reveal an adjusting screw. The screw can be used to LOWER the control pressure which richins the mixture across the whole rev range. This prevents pinking and gives the optimum performance from your engine. Phil, mines a 1.8,yours is 2l! -
They are the same as golf 16v! im using a tsr jobby on mine

Im not taking the p***! Standard valvers on k-jet run lean at the top end.Stealth advance the ignition timing to its optimum setting then do a modification to the warm up reg which increses the fuelling across the rev range and prevents pinking, also sets co level to optimum.Took my motor in and it done 120bhp due to a sheared woodruff key in cam, stealth done there magic and 2hours later i had 162bhp.Cost me £160 for 2 hours on rollers, including removing the cams and supply and fit new cam sprocket. I drove from the Isle of Wight and it was definatley worth my while,he let me take it round the block before i paid for it aswell. As for figures,if mines making 27bhp more from an inlet cam, 4 branch and stealth tune thats got to be the proof in the pudding?? -

Stealth racing did mine.Costs about £50ish quid and they can get about 155bhp from a standard 136bhp engine just with a tune!!!!!!!!!! -

Was using 1.8 with 2 exhaust cams, stainless zorst and 4 branch and my car made 162.3bhp(27 bhp increase cost me less than £500!). Since the dyno, ive fitted a 50mm manifold and v-sam so not sure on power.Sold my firebreather tho :drinking: -
yep took a day of hard graft! Just start with course sandpaper and work ya way down through to wet n dry, then wire wool, then autosol polish! Noticed theres a 50mm 1 polished in the forsale section
