Got a beautifully crafted stainless bracket for the BMC through the post today from daves16v. Perfect fit, with some nice adjustment available and looks sooooooo much better than the old bracket that was on there! 8)

On a different note, we've decided it's time to part with the vRS. We need something a little more frugal + we can downsize now as we no longer have pushchairs etc to worry about. Absolutely love it- it's been a trustworthy steed, not missing a beat. It's been fast and reliable, but it's time for a change. Will be picking up a rather splendid Civic 2.2 CDTi ES next Saturday 8)

Getting the new wheels refurbed locally (where I got the front end resprayed a while back)- hopefully dropping them off tomorrow. They have a two-day turnaround. Will get them on the car this weekend 8)
