If you want a cheap alternator, I removed a working one from my vr6. It was working fine, I just got a good offer of a shiny new 120a one at the time. My car has air con so i needed to know i had a larger amperage one. This one worked fine but has no identification markings on it so I can't say what size it is. I will happily put a picture up and it would only cost you the postage. Unless you could collect from Sheffield or Nottingham. Just an option Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Of my 2nd relay... 87a is a skinny green on its own that connects at a connector and becomes red to the compressor. When I linked yellow green to the black green that switches my compressor on. My fan definitely comes on when the air con is switched on so I haven't needed to investigate this bit. Hopefully someone else can help. Assuming you have checked all the fuses at the relays The wiring diagram will definitely help. Has your fan worked ok before? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I'm not back with the car until tomorrow night, but I can check which colours go where on these connectors. Good luck with it. I know it's a pain to sort, but it is lovely WHEN it works Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

The wires from the pressure switch go to two connector plugs to the right hand side of it. This is where I could test for open and closed circuits and find which wires went to which relay Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Just been and pulled it out. Definitely 87a I do know this bottom relay is controlled by the pressure switch mounted on the evaporator. This is what switches to engage the compressor. I do wish I could locate a diavia wiring diagram for this system tho. That would make my life easier Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Apologies for a late reply as I was locked out of tapatalk. I Have 4 relays for the aircon, and the two relays on the left work in either position. I hope this picture explains what I mean Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Does anyone know what this connector I've found actually does or what it would be for? Thanks Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I'd take any plastic fixing screws and speed nuts off that I can as they are better replacements. If you had the time get the complete aircon etc off it. Someone may want a retro reliable fit. Nuts, bolts, does it have a sunroof. .. Go for it. Garages are for man crap anyway Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Well done in sorting it. An easy fix is always nice Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I don't know how you could have removed it leaving the support brackets in the chassis legs. Sounds impossible but well done. I think it will be easier to take the legs out, rebolt them to the front piece and then refit the whole item Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

You tube has a video of the oil sensor beeping. See if it's similar. Every Google search does point to this that people are saying Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Good luck with that one mate. .. I had all my dash out and can't think of anything that could beep behind the dash. Do you have any lights left on buzzer/other aftermarket electronics fitted to your baby Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

It does look very nice, if only overpriced. ..imo Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Someone who was local to me near Sheffield. Wasn't ridiculously expensive either. Just strip yours down and find someone local as they are bloomin heavy to post Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Mine was broken. I managed to purchase a 2nd hand unit and rob the cog for mine. I did find that a 95 polo had the exact same flaps which have a better covering and also a straight swap. That's what I used in mine. I'll look this weekend to see if I Have a spare but can't promise I would Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Apologies, I was writing and saw that post. I know my box came out on its own,but getting it all out sounds good. It gets to Have a full clean

Definitely 2 nuts in the engine bay. Bottom one is a spinning swine but will come out as you undo and someone else pulls. I think it has screw fixings at the bottom. Unfortunately mine has aircon and doesn't fix up to the motor part boxing on the left, so I don't know if a normal one does

Can I duplicate that wish list. Must do the lottery. . Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
