If you can adapt items, stick something on the inner metal sunroof and then connect this to the inner liner. Have it adjusted so that as the sunroof tilts it pulls up the liner inside but make sure it's removable/replaceable. Or do what some people do and get the glass sunroof and the mk3 golf shade that slides back

They are a car far better than the standard gti. DSG is great as it gives you launch control. Go for it

Rado_tdi If your trim doesn't lift and you don't Have those parts on yours, it's likely to be your sunroof mechanism had previously been swapped for a mk3 golf or passat unit.

[ATTACH]83492[/ATTACH] Finally fitted one of the refurbed old skool OZ POLARIS wheels that came with the car. I've even found someone that could replicate the badges. Just need to find the centre caps at a reasonable price, although I'm wondering if VW centre caps would look better. (1fitted wheel=1small step for mankind)

Bought mine a couple of months ago off of eBay. Genuine bosch item from Germany Received many recommendations about them from this site and only took a few days to get it. Result. An hours job to change, so was well happy

I used them years ago for a suspension change. Very knowledgeable and Great suspension but unfortunately the price quoted was totally different to when I picked the car up. ... so was not happy and never been to them since. Shame really

After reading the vw guide, correction to what I wrote earlier, it's 1mm below roof line for the front of the sunroof AND 1MM ABOVE for the rear. Oops
