  1. Thanks for doing your bit Anna. Front Fog/indicator lights and bottom outer and inner window scrapers would be a bonus, any chance you can ask vintage rubber from the USA to send you over some samples, maybe strike up a relationship with them. We need the basics to keep the cars on the road. http://vintagerubber.com/volkswagen/corrado/
  2. The large plug is connected to the back of the fan motor behind the radiator.
  3. Have you checked if the plug is fitted in correctly at the back of the fan , they need to be pushed in really tight, also the bubbling at 110 sounds like air inside the system which might indicate that someone has had a hose off lately or changed the coolant , it should bleed by itself. Give the engine a run the fan should come on between 95 and a 100 and see if the fan comes on after you have given the main ffan plug a good push in, if it does then problem solved. The coolant should not escape at 110 so you have a weak hose or tank, however under 110 they might not leak as it's under less pressure, I know a lot of aftermarket hoses leak at 110 as not as well manufactured as Stock hoses.
  4. This looks like a very nice motor . can't remember the last time I saw one of these on the road. They built less of these then the Audi Quattro and rarer, they are going to go up very steeply in the next few year imo. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113761413990?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l5999&_trkparms=gh1g%3DI113761413990.N36.S1.R1.TR4
  5. Much appreciated Mort. Thanks.
  6. Morning , What is the policy/ behaviour on here I thought it was first to post on thread gets first dibs on parts . See posts above . Cheers guys.
  7. Can collect this one evening this week. Cheers
  8. Ill take them if they are free thanks chap I'm based in the Midlands.
  9. I would Rob, as Jon says on his thread parts for sale, " open to offers " . Then you will have the best quality/stock pump and sender on the market for a VR6, should last 20 years. Cheers.
  10. Here is the cheapest place to get the sender. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-GENUINE-VDO-221-833-002-011Z-FUEL-LEVEL-SENDER-VW-WHOLESALE-PRICE-SALE/163183083932?epid=249158734&hash=item25fe78419c:g:dmAAAOSwNSxVW4D6&frcectupt=true
  11. I sent you an email Jon.
  12. So the cheapest option you have is to buy the sender off ebay and the Johns pump , or alternatively cut a hole out of the chassis floor and do a Freddy Flinstone. I think all in that's under a £100 which is £250 cheaper then the JP pump and sender that VW Heritage was selling and by the sounds of it not even 4 bar,so your on to a winner.
  13. You cant buy a pierburg pump anymore therefore you have to buy a VDO (or 4 bar) pump and the VDO sender as your Pierburg sender will not fit the 4 bar pump.
  14. This confirms that the JP one that VW Heritage was selling must of been a three bar so best with the JP of Johns.
  15. Jon has a VDO pump for sale brand new, and says he will take offers. Cheapest person selling Sender and arrives in a few days. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-GENUINE-VDO-221-833-002-011Z-FUEL-LEVEL-SENDER-VW-WHOLESALE-PRICE-SALE/163183083932?epid=249158734&hash=item25fe78419c:g:dmAAAOSwNSxVW4D6&frcectupt=true
  16. Mr Shrick on this car , what are all them relays next to the fan fuse , is it something to do with the automatic ?? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201904106837769?onesearchad=Used&onesearchad=Nearly%20New&onesearchad=New&model=CORRADO&make=VOLKSWAGEN&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=sponsored&postcode=b736hg&radius=1500&page=1&modal=photos
  17. Thanks Dox now to source some door card trims these are now obsolete , one thing I also noticed as my key barrel external seal trim was looking a bit tired is these are bloody obselete to, oh the joy !!!
  18. The barrel was left in the middle horizontal position before I believe and did not work if I pushed the button in. I turned the key furthest to the left possible and now it works by pressing the barrel button in without putting the key in and also locks/unlocks by using the keyfob, is that the correct position it should be left in . Cheers.
  19. Crap me its working now thanks Dox . put it into lock position shut the boot and now working with keyfob with just a push of the barrel, don't need to put the key in the barrel no more, thanks mucker.
  20. Has anyone got the Bentley manual and take a picture and post on here so I can inspect if there is a missing link part, cheers.
  21. Hi Dox, when locking the tailgate barrel manual with the key it does open/lock the tailgate manually , the actuator does move when I press the key fob but the rod to the latch does not move so it something to do with the join at the back of the barrel that connects to the rod that goes to the latch marked a A on picture above I guess ?.
  22. Thanks Dox I don't have a Bentley on hand unfortunately. Here is some pictures of the back of the barrel . I think the area I have circled in green with the two v shaped prongs have some how dislodged from the flat plate at the back of the barrel or there is a missing joint clip god knows.' A' on diagram is the rod that should be unlocking the boot latch when the actuator is activated but is not moving because the prongs seem to be not be attached to anything , 'B' is the actuator rod that is working (moving).
