  1. Anyone one know what the carport red rado went for ? Says reverse not met. seller has to approve. https://www.copart.co.uk/lot/61161501/clean-title-1994-volkswagen-corrado-vr-bristol
  2. An old trick you can also do is put some butly tape one third from the bottom inside the membrane and another bit of membrane acts like a drain into the bottom of the door.
  3. That sounds like my mates car Paul in Leicester . his misses drives it to . car is for sale nice clean honest motor in Alpine White . https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1383951
  4. Late body g60 also only has one pump - and uses the early in tank vr 3 bar pierburg pump- same bracket as a vr for fuel filter. Fuel pressure regulator they are obsolete on a g60 though what a shit show. My guess is your electric plug/cabling on fuel pump or sender unit is wrong- the pump you have fitted is the single pump same as a VR or late G60 my car is the same.
  5. Thanks Cressa. Seems a shame to have tucked behind a wheel ha ./ I will get a video of beforw and after 70 mph to see if revs drop and a review of performance. Here is a great video story of a lucky find of a VWMS box from a Rado G60 scrapper. Have met this seller he came round mine once to buy some G60 callipers for his mk2. clever use of rear hubs to. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3AzsLhCNzE

Love that colour on a rado glws.
  7. Thanks both - I could of took a bit more time getting the casing vapour blasted is it- about a month later after i sanded the casing - primed and vht degree 800 - next door at my work yard a small vapour blaster opened up lol. What a gross job cleaning the casings it was- could smell the fluid for a month after - sick stuff.
  8. Final piece in the jigsaw puzzle now built up . VWMS Gemini.
  9. Your not allowed to mate only a whatsap video that the shysters charge you a tenner- I would be like get your fooking hand in that grill and pull the cable you chocolate tea pot I want me tenner's worth- show that manifold . I would say there is a vr in there the nose looks pretty low I think it was a project car and now added to that a cable carnage in fuse box and potentially a smashed window. Its all about can you be bothered to spend a £100 becoming a member to bid - i suppose it gets rid of time waster alike to ebay auction. Says no cat or in yankee doodle clean title
  10. Could it be a hidden kill switch/ immobiliser that is now redundant.
  11. It could go for more mate tbh - a blue one with same mileage sold for 6 something k the other week with no rare bits. Had a damaged door and smashed window - the owner tried to be clever and took a pay off from insurance and thought he could buy it back for 2k at auction - he openly admitted his greed back fired on him when he got outbid.
  12. So that will be 5 k with fees - why do i have feeling this is going to go for about 6 or above- is that a BBS steering wheel to ? If i had not purchased that G60 I would have a go at buying it lol. Red . audioscapes, black recaro - ding dong sold sir.
  13. I dont think its the K100 car anymore mate. My instincts tell me this car was in storage and got stolen, as the mot indicates that and also the heavy build up of dust on the paint.
  14. Good chance he deciphered the last three digits correct- also says its red.
  15. Just looked at the first page and yes can see now its the K100 VRG car- known as the red storm. My mate has had a good look at the reg under the tape and seems to think it is. M116 JNP
  16. I think this the car is this from 2013 with a private reg and now has upgraded alloys and interior. https://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=293075 hmmm maybe not as sorn. It seems to have 16 speedlines maybe the last owner was off the group buy on here.
  17. So i just got off the phone from co part for the craic. The facts I could obtain and nothing else. They will not give registration number/mileage unless you are a member, The car was stolen and the cabling is hanging out the fuse box and is a none runner. The car comes with keys but no logbook or dealer books. the bonnet will not open hence no picture, They do not allow viewings at present. You can have a whatsap viewing 1 to 1 on video chat however its a £10.00 fee and need to pay £100.00 membership fee first. There is no cost to bid when a member however the commission on 6 k would be around £650.00 inclusive of Vat. £40.00 collection arrangement fee- you will have your tow fee as well from whoever you use. So I would estimate fees around the 1 k with including tow fee. So a 6 k car will cost you 7k to get it on the drive. . Everything is set up there really to get a £100 membership fee off window shoppers.
  18. Agreed I’m not sure they will even let you visit the yard - Health and safety and all that - disgrace they have not got a picture of the engine bay - I imagine the bonnet cable is snapped with the missing grill .
  19. Could well be the case was owned by an innocent purchaser even for years and a police check or mot realised it was stolen - it doesn’t look like a stolen recovery as no damage but the drivers window is smashed or rolled down I think - maybe towed off with no insurance and never reclaimed 🤔 perhaps it got stolen and towed 2 hrs away to these lot and the insurance company made it horrendous for the owner to get it back . Anyone know of the car ????
  20. Would love it if you could find it mate as only has the first 4 digists of the registration on show - bloody cheek that is, they want you to spend ££££ but no give you the basics - only way to unravel is pay for their inhouse hpi. Mileage - and maybe some more photos of the car would be great to see what else rare gems she might be hiding. I would say the car has had a paint job to - missing side trims- looks like dust to me and rain water channels - it looks far to goof for them to have - i cant see no fontal damage either just a missing grill - its almost like they have purchased the car from somewhere rather then an incident occurring. .
  21. I thought they looked a bit odd and it was maybe because they were colour coded- handles to and is the tailgate smoothed or painted plinth.
  22. Yes that is about as simple as it gets- be warned some of these tow drivers are very pushy and do what is good for them and not for you, so make sure they understand actually on this occasion it will be good for them if they follow your request- be prepared to bring in your own tow if they refuse- remember your in a great position to buy your car back (salvage rights) if on the drive and also saves a fork lift truck pushing round the yard and fighting for your property to be returned.
  23. Another CO Part car - but with recaro and audioscapes , 16 speedline corse and who knows maybe cubby gauges- vsr - very nice colour combo. So this is a good example of how the Insurance companies have become Americanised by Co Part influence. As you can see it says clean title. So the cars last owner would of had a pay out. If you look at the fees co part will make around 550 from car fee and 100 membership fee to bid and other costs you will be charged. Its a new strategy now where they do not write off minor damage as a cat so hold good auction value Moral of the story if you like your car never let a tow truck after an accident take it to what the driver would describe as a police locked compound - always say take it home if they disagree tell them no and insist to be taken back to your home - its your policy and car its your decison not theirs but they will try it on with you- make sure where the car goes you go ! You will get a much better pay out form the insurance company and be in control of your joy/asset rare parts - if you let it get towed away you can kiss your car and rare bits good bye. As you can see hardly nowt wrong with this to end up in such a place- proper con. Also to note this is the second rado stolen in 2 weeks . Its quite clear they are taking none cat cars off the owners and making money out of them - seems a bit of a shit show from where I'm sitting. Estimated at 6 k - and 1 k fees by the time they are done with you - dont even show the reg so you have to use their inhouse hpi at a cost. Does anyone recognise the car- some of the parts have been colour coded . https://www.copart.co.uk/lot/61161501/clean-title-1994-volkswagen-corrado-vr-bristol
