Over the moon build complete now - just a brief video of my first experience of the vwms box - final build sheet to .
-
Very negative way to look at it - when realistically its just a few old corrado owners selling some rare bits that members get first dibs on. By us paying a subscription its a benefit we get first dibs - its likely Toby will get less membership if there is less action on here - sometimes you have to give a bit to make a lot.
-
Yep the best stuff are the nos bits in old members storage and we would rather have first dibs then compete against facebook 3000 members of a group.
-
Maybe a note at the top of page saying none member or previous members not subscribed can post but commercial/ breaker etc posts may be removed if not subscribed or contributed to the maintenance of the forum and longevity - it does not have to be complicated.
-
Yes agreed commercial but for ex owners yes as these tend to have some very good nos parts in the loft and it would be good to have an opportunity to purchase.
-
Hi everyone, I would like to put a common sense idea forward. Cars and parts threads should be free to post to none members . Reason - because it benefits members looking for parts and ex corrado members are unlikely to join when selling an item if no longer own a Corrado.

I know I thought that when I saw the picture - itβs had new lemforder. Track rods to so it is seriously letting down the picture - not to rusty to be be fair just need a good clean .

Getting very close now guys to the finishing line . 288mm upgrade .

Few I was feeling for you then ha - how many miles has the moonlight blue done it looks like it seen a relatively easy life- I think the biggest cause of bad rot is bad jacking and screen fitters- over sized alloys can cause some nastiness as well on the arches- I take a spare set of alloys now for tyre fitting as they always seem to jack the cars up with little regard to the under belly- saves a lot of stress.
-
I nipped into jabba today whilst the frames were off and got to this bit - just surface rust - gave it wire wheel - krust- zink primer- followed by some stone chip - will seal once its all cured. Its had a few bits that ive had to wire wheel and treat .
-
Mate if its not peeling dont have to kill yourself taking it all off. That would be an horrific job but good luck with the job if you do.
-
Worth every penny that looks great and also essential maintenance as can be a mot failure . π
-
There might be a couple more special bits I might fit wink wink .
-
Yep sure has 8/10 k renovation - I will daily this for 3 years - that is a good way of getting back money spent on a car by using it and enjoying and Black Magic will be the show pony.
-
Thanks mate- the blue is osram super night breakers I think they call them. Not fitted yet mate the g60 has been sucking me dry .
-
I should bloody hope so baster! thing has nearly bumped me several times.
-
They are average mate they could be better - if you could prise the lenses off them could get the reflectors done- that is the only true way to get them mint- i do have some nos lenses at home and x1 new fog but they are spares for when i get a stone chip. I think the indicator lenses could come off easily -the more rotten the better they will come off. Ive managed to collect some since- broken a couple of cars and also look out for spares - i gave my mate the after market ones I really like the hella ones. .
-
Took the lenses out and cleaned mate- also the headlights have had re chromed at dual mentalising Brum.
-
Went out for a grease and spoon this morning and then headed up to stealth for an oil change- engine has broken in now and its tanking- my mates aqua with a schrick gave him a good roasting the other day π
-
Yes this is true the ford hacks have well gone- im surprised you got one from the dealers - sound like they have made another batch again as were obsolete not to long ago for a year or so.

Thats a shame mate you must of been seriously considering it. That spoiler reminds me of the space ship x bomber from the 80 s Sci-Fi starfleet.
