  1. Looked at that one Dox and its a Dasis and is infarct the company I purchased from.
  2. Thanks Cressa it was worth a bash - don't be surprised if a AKG one is ever made again if it is called Mahle because they have purchased Hella refrigeration- also worth looking out for Nissens in case they bring a batch out made by AKG.
  3. Ok chap but here is the check out and showing that price. One would have to check if they do international shipping. https://www.daparto.de/Warenkorb
  4. Just an update got an email off Amazon saying will be delivered on the 18th followed by an email an hour later saying out of stock will give a refund . So conclusion Dasis is the only OE fitting radiator available on planet earth for a VR at this present moment 😂 I will still be fitting the new Hella Fan so will give an update on that instead.
  5. Found this website in Germany - its searches all the part companies in DE and is a price comparison site. For example put in my car details in search then choose cooling - dasis rad ony £31.00 !!!! https://www.daparto.de/Kuehler/VW-Corrado-53I/2-2166-823?kbaTypeId=4221
  6. Its confusing- for example should we now get things vat tax free from Europe and then they add on the vat - my gut feeling is at the moment a lot of ebayers will have deleted not EU vat then and then vat also added on by ebay automatically on checkout 20 percent so getting double bubbled ???
  7. For sure Ive always said the biggest issues with trucks and vans is they are normally driven by people that dont own them.
  8. Its mental I purchased it in 2007 with 60k something for 7 inc Vat , Have replaced two clutches - fuel pump, alternator, , battery and that is it - have had the chassis welded twice as well. I think Im going to let her go for a Euro 6- I always kept her because kept hearing horror stories off other contractors- in the last six months first lad 2 year old transit has had a new gear box and engine ( he purchased it second hand) was over 60 k on clock so no warrantee off Ford - exactly the same happened to a chap with an ecobosst Ford Ranger I think he called it . Might get an Iveco this time, I like the quad wheels on the rear axle and Merc plus VW always seem to have the single axle . I have to have a 4m internal flatbed. What you reckon I could get Shaun ? - Mk6 Transit - 166k on the clock cat free- normal age related surface rust on wings and sills= has 11 month mot cat free- every switch works and electrics. Mine is a drop side Alloy flatbed, they are one of the hardest variants to find. Look at this for example well over what I expected an no bed which can be pricey https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-transit-smiley-mk5/254828372407?hash=item3b54f461b7:g:wSUAAOSwjDpf-c82 Holy cow or maybe I might just store her at my yard ha. 11k https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ford-transit-mk-2-tipper-rat-look/203223153729?_trksid=p2485497.m4902.l9144
  9. I would say so - one other thing I have noticed connected to COVID is vans have shot up in price as well. / was thinking of getting rid of my oldest flatbed transit 52 Reg and was expecting 1k max - to my shock they are selling for 2 to 3 k with even some as Spares and repairs and of course the orange peril. Been told it’s due to courier demand they are earning Upto 1k a week at the moment the self employed lads . My mate who supplies HGV drivers to blue chip companies and supermarket companies has just purchased one of them new Lamborghini suv had a record breaking quarter - we have been below average sales ourselves
  10. If your car came from factory with aircon maybe that has something to do with uprated electrics- who knows. then again I dont think any rhg came from factory with aircon.
  11. Thanks. There was a track package but now it has diapered = although it never moved past the order received box - it now says shipment delayed will be n touch when order shipped - so pressed the cancel button and returned sorry we cant cancel- so I will leave it another week- would be nice if they could say yes it is coming rather the order just dangling in the abyss.
  12. Hadnt thought about that chap that is a Brucie Bonus.
  13. Few pics of recent underseal from special pollution tarpits of the Industrial backwash of Birmingham . The tarpit solution was really 3M car body schutz then a coat of waxoyl Like
  14. I wouldn't be to stressed normally its just because I want to know is it a damn god AKG rad 😂
  15. Wont be using Amazon again after 13 days of speaking to foreign call centres and not getting a straight answer is the item in stock or not- is the item coming in stock ? Finally just pressed the cancel button for it say sorry we cant cancel your order- so will have to call again and know I wont get anywhere.. It is now showing as unavailable on their website so whether it was in stock or not in the first instance Ill never know. Was on a premium delivery meant to arrive on the 5th at the latest.
  16. Its just mad that you has that much current from stock = probably a good thing I guess.
  17. I was once was 1 cm away from been crushed by a monster 1.8 ton Tiger tank R129- they have these horrid round holes that the factory jack slides into on the sills- unless the floor is perfectly flat the jack spits out of the hole - was changing a monobloc and it landed on the brake disc cover and left a nasty gash in the tarmac and the car slid forward about 2 foot - never again. Hate having a sloped drive - I always have a wheel and tyre now as a dead stop , also have a proper trolley jack - but will not work under my car because of sloped drive. Hopefully garage will be allowed but now full blown appeal stage. Been scaffolding all my life but no was the floor I nearly lost it.
  18. The only sensible second corrado ownership would be a donor car 🤣
  19. Did your stock loom look modded - is it possible they added a live feed to it - not sure of the stock one has a live feed. Live stock feeds Im guessing is ( I think ) Main live Rad fan live ABS Live ECU Live
  20. Count how many live feeds there are on your battery
  21. Stealth his got the ecu chips ready to fit for a schrick takes 5 minutes to fit and can maybe give you a blast before and after on the road and also advise if there is a power loss what the issue may be.
  22. https://www.mk5cortinaestate.co.uk/calculator4.php
  23. Ok can see 172 bhp at the top was this wheel bhp or engine ?
  24. Have you had a chip for ecu otherwise Schrick youll get pinking . Cant read that chart to faded what was the max bhp from engine not wheels ?
  25. Managed to comlpete my votex set up. What I learnt on the way. VDO Dials cost each £30 - £34.00 from Merlin Motorsports , they come with green and red diffuser caps to illuminate green - you can buy plugs and connectors for the back of the clocks to tidy them up for a couple of quid- had to send the analogue time clock back I purchased originally as has a different design build and you cant change illumination to green just the factory white. Its not worth buying second hand clocks they seem to sell for a £100- £200 a set for 30 year old clocks from an Audi or VAG by new its cheaper and of course 30 years younger. Gauge and switch trims I purchased from a very skilled seller from Eastern European - I think this guy could make the Corrado gauge pods with no issues. Sensors are M10 x 1 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-Votex-power-window-switch-holder-VW-Jetta-Golf-MK2-GTI-G60-GTD-16V/184177767564?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
