Ok can see 172 bhp at the top was this wheel bhp or engine ?

Have you had a chip for ecu otherwise Schrick youll get pinking . Cant read that chart to faded what was the max bhp from engine not wheels ?

Managed to comlpete my votex set up. What I learnt on the way. VDO Dials cost each £30 - £34.00 from Merlin Motorsports , they come with green and red diffuser caps to illuminate green - you can buy plugs and connectors for the back of the clocks to tidy them up for a couple of quid- had to send the analogue time clock back I purchased originally as has a different design build and you cant change illumination to green just the factory white. Its not worth buying second hand clocks they seem to sell for a £100- £200 a set for 30 year old clocks from an Audi or VAG by new its cheaper and of course 30 years younger. Gauge and switch trims I purchased from a very skilled seller from Eastern European - I think this guy could make the Corrado gauge pods with no issues. I think so - I actually think they got the branding seriously wrong. This is how I would brand the three products Standard GTI I would have kept the gti interior and branding called a golf R the GTI 4 Top of the range Golf Rallye and a little bit more crazy like the old one - not as boring looking as the R. Get some of that Rallye classic cloth in the interior that's what we want like they have done with the GTI. Want to see 380 bhp. Possibility its the last MK petrol golf in the UK to be introduced . 😔 plus most likely will never be another petrol corrado manufactured.

Hopefully chap it was on a prime delivery(free for 1 month) and was meant to be here on Monday but as you say testing times so still hopeful .

I dont want to point out anymore stuff about the car looking negative mate - he says he has quite a lot of G60 parts so that should help him out- also seen he has set of black recaro from previous posts- it really is the bodywork and rot I would be most concerned about and an engine rebuild- say you are going to spend a ton of money on a car - its always going to hold it back a little that none of the original paperwork comes with it and a mot gap of 11 years. I suppose on a positive a corrado G60 could be saved .

Correct Geri. Its a great hack my cads had lost there stiffness and kept popping out the bottom clips of the door card - Also acts as a seal from membrane if you have a leak and stops it swelling- they have now tightened up and the bottom clips hold them in place. Pictures - can see the one it nearly dried and only leaves a slight Saturn glaze. Was very tempted to water the PVA down to bleed it right through the vag special cardboard but didnt want to risk the fabric getting wrecked - so put on neat .

My vwms speedlines can take 6 pot atp -now that is pretty impressive for a 7.5 j alloy.

Does act as a membrane as seals but use Hammeritre spray for my underseal - so good guess but incorrect.

ooops my bad thought the 9 was an 8 = no need to worry about that part then its the same part for a Mk7 transit egr valve .
