  1. Son of a Beesting

    Dash

I think Billinjah did it. Search 'dash' and 'swap' and it should come up.
  2. its tight everwhere in a VR6 engine bay  The thought did cross my mind of putting it where the g60 intercooler is. But that seems more difficult than in front of the rad. I will have another look when I get home (as long as the car aint blown away!! ) I also like the idea of getting blow through from the rad fans. Thanks for your help with this, getting near the end of my wits trying to get the car back up and running! HOPEFULLY things look a bit better soon
  3. Cool, can I ask the reason why you went this route? Is there something dangerous about going round to the passenger side from the start and not from the drivers side? I am concerned with it fouling on the rad fans more than anything.
  4. Well that makes sense, I feel like a right twit now!! Strange its juut cause I seen your pics that you have posted of your install it looks like its next to the passenger side headlight, must just be me being stupid again. Thanks for the advice. hopefully I will get this blasted thing sorted one day!
  5. Cool. So did you drill some holes in the air ducting to the side of the rad? Or did it just route round ok. Its very squeezed in the engine bay. Apart from the mounting holes for the brackets did you need to drill anything else out for the hoses? I wanted to mount mine in front of the rad as well. And I know this is stupid question but I always get confused. The offside is the passenger or drivers side? Thanks again, I just need the car back on the road its been off for TOO long!
  6. How have people ran their oil cooler pipes? I had a look last night and I cant see how to do it unless I go under the rad and up. But this would mean cutting a small bit out of the crossmember. CorradoVR6-n.o.s, did you cut anything out of your cross member. I tried looking for the holes you haev in your pictures that you ran it through and I cant see it on mine.! Thanks
  7. Ok heres the link to the manual. Sorry I cant be more help http://www.sonydigital-link.com/manuals ... e=CDX-L410
  8. There should be a wire liek the blue one going down into the amp. What stereo is it? have you tried looking on the manufactuers website for a downloadable manual? that should show you what each wire is.
  9. The solid blue one will be a remote turn on for an external amp
  10. If by spots you mean fogs then no as they are on a different wiring and I dont think they need to be uprated anyway you only need them when its foggy and not everyday.
  11. I believe front ones needs to be pressed in so a garage job unless you have a press?
  12. yeah I was about to say its been on the trader for MONTHS!

  16. interesting. I love they say use vw special tool whatever to get the tensioner off and on. Me and my mate used a massive spanner!!
  17. I think I have heard of it before, a 16k Red Corrado rings bells.
  18. They have put this down - I am sure I was quoted about £230 including VAT about 2 or 3 years ago. AVS - seems best, as suggested by Dogzyboy. yeah they did used to be more! VW Come down in price shocker!!!
  19. Out of interest what colour is your car?
  20. that cant be to good, surely something going wrong if your changing them every 6 months! EDIT: If you can get a BERU one as they are an OEM
