  8. the arena is the other side of sheffield to me mate, although it only takes 20 mins to get from my house to centertainment. I've got 2morow off (friday) and next mon - tues - wed off if your free? to be honest it might be worth leaving your fuse box till i could have a look, i kinda know what im looking for so might be just as quick to do it that way. Thanks again for offering your help! Neil P.S, did you fit your seats or did your corrado come with them already in?
  9. errrr, yeah i know it had my full name on it, but that wasn't my real address, i dont live at downing street, the prime minister does lol. I might ring the police tomorrow, just seems bit odd as i dont use cd's! altho from the site, http://www.sheffieldsafercommunities.net, I did find this paragraph, 'Use of the Vulnerable Vehicle Scheme, where vehicles seen to have property on display are contacted by the DVLA to alert them to risk and direct contact with owners of these vehicles from Sheffield police' Neil
  10. seems a bit dodge to me baring in mind i dont actually use CD's in my car, i haven't had CD's in my car for almost a year, could they have thought it was something else looking like a CD? or is this even true, not tried the website advetised on there. Bit sus to me...
  11. that would be brilliant mate, i have both the wires going to the the fuse box, well actually at the mo i have the illuminance wire joint to the cig lighter for the time being and just need the main power wire going into the fuse box, its a bare wire at the mo so i need a connector on the end but i do know there are a few spare dangling behind the fuse box so i can just knick one of them, but to have a look at your fuse box and see exactly where the wires go would be brilliant! Where abouts do you work? I live in Dore, and work in meadowhead morrisons. I have random days off during the week so let me know where abouts you are and when your free and we could sort something out? If you can get a picture of the back of your fuse box, could you see if you can see the connection 'D/9', because i believe thats where the main power wire should go to, as far as i understand, it should be a Black/white wire going to a connector on the top of the fuse box which the seats then plug into.... thanks alot! Neil
  12. I've got heated leather, and i have all the loom in etc apart from connecting the two wires that go to the fuse box, illuminance and power, i have all the info for where the wires are exactly to go, i just dont want to tackle it myself, im willing to pay someone to come and do it for me. I am awear it could maybe take ten minutes to do but i just dont fancy messing behind the fuse box. If anyone can help me in the sheffield area i'd be greatful! Thanks, Neil

And am i right in thinking i need: - Arm x 2 - 8N2 955 408D Blade x 2 - 8N2 955 425E Which should be around the £100 mark. I've also head of discount, what discount is this, Corrado forum discount?

    Heater matrix

ah so it can be done without the dash out! When you say centre console, do you mean the heater controls part, or the handbrake tunnle? any chance you can give a quick quide how you did it with the dash in? I dont fancy taking my dash out, but need to place the matrix.
  18. I brought two mint heated grey leather seats for £100 off one person, then rear seats and door cards off another person for £150, and a heated wiring loom for £80 off someone else, all i need now is late front door cards, so, so far my interior has cost me £330 for a near complete set, its all about looking around and grabbing a bargain.

mk2 corrado??? do you mean a late type, or a mk2 golf?
  20. good topic, i've been thinking the the same recently with my current idling and running issues. My car started to stall a few months back so i spent about £300 on (plugs, leads, MAF, ISV, air box etc) and finally then replaced the lamba probe, all seems ok so far, after one long run. But i seem to be having to get more 2nd hand parts or replace bits and bobs, and once one thing is done, its then another thing that needs fixing. I think during this year i've had about 2 months where i've not had to spend any money apart from petrol, the rest of the time it's either been at the garage being fixed or i've used it for short journeys. BUT....it is a 14 yr old car, so you need to ask yourself, how do other 14 yr old cars compare to corrados? I think that with age, anything will start to break down and become less reliable. But with the problems my corrado gives me, it has NEVER EVER let me down once with starting, ive owned the car 2 and half years and it has started first time, every time. And would i sell my corrado because of these faults...... NO WAY! I love it!! :D
  21. well the garage didnt take the tyre off, but they did put water around the rim and didnt notice and air leaks or anything, but it is a slow deflation, they said if i can get the tyre off they'll take the tyre off and check the beed and clean it all up and refit the tyre.
  22. Fitted Rear leather door cards Fitted a connector for my radio to headunit, not had radio in my car since i brought my car on 7th July 2006!
