  8. i guess the master cylinder is below the brake resivour then.
  9. does anyone have any good tips on how to replace this please? is it in the car, engine bay? what size / colour is it?
  10. its my ABS pump, my front right abs sensor and signal is dead and my Brake pedal posstioning sensor has gone, no idea what that is!
  11. If i have the key on ignition(dont actually start the car) after a few minutes ill get a weird virbration kinda fart that lasts for about 1-2 seconds then goes away, i thought it was air going through the water pump as ive just done my matrix, but i had my foot resting on clutch once and i felt it. Its also happened whilst driving aswell. its kinda like a sound of a numatic drill froma workman on a much much smaller scale! My brake fluid is low (handbrake light comes on when booting or going round corners), is the clutch hydrualic? What could this be? its a 1993 VR6.
  12. where from i want one!
  13. i did mine but found out i had a respray coz there were paint marks where the body shop had taped up the bumper strips, plus some paint came off on my door, so i put them back on.
  14. no it doesnt, it never does, really do need deep pockets to own a corrado!
  15. welcome to my world, my dash out cost me a £30 call out charge to plug in a wire i had dislodged by mistake. but least now i can lock it.
  16. I could of sworn i wrote that because thats EXCTALY, and i mean exactly what i had to do, got a nice scuff on the heat shield now. its not a nice job at all, but is 100 times easier with the dash out.
  17. well alarm guy came and sorted out the alarm. Just got to sort my iddling issues that the revs drop too much nearly stalling at junctions and find out why the ABS light is on all the time, oh the joys of owning a corrado.
  18. duh im right stupid, i do have a different key for the ignition aswell.
  19. its just so damn annoying, i replaced the matrix, and got my heated seats wired up, but now no alarm! It might end up costing £200 for a new one if he cant fix it! grrrrrr, life is sh**!
  20. £12.75!!! I'd stay well clear at that price! I went to GSF and they quoted two prices, one at £24 and one at £43, i went for the more expencive as i dont want to replace it again!
  21. Well as true to the tradition of me trying to fix something on my car (heater matrix), ive broken something else, my alarm, i have a car that is great to drive but i cant go anywhere coz i cant lock it! Having to spend £30 on a alarm guy to come out and look and it and he might not even be able to fix it! Nothing ever goes smoothly when i do it, it just f***s me off big time!! Its just 100% sods law! GRRRAAAAHHHHHHH (Rant over)
  22. for some reason i have two drill holes in the top of my ignition barrel?
