I've Got a center silencer off a 9A 16v Corrado, Engine only had 30.000K before the car was garaged for 10+ years.. I'm actually using it on an Engine on an Engine dyno but once it's finished i won't need it anymore. How long can you wait? I'm also in Rome, Italy so not exactly round the corner. If not give Chris(lillfuzzer) a shout, he always has loads of bits.

No your not being a donut mate. Unfortunately you've discovered a weak spot and there's not a lot that can be done either.. The main problem is that the metal in that spot is double if not triple skinned and there's no easy way Of repairing the effected area. Years ago, I drilled two holes behind the foam water seal that's stuck on the door jamb, I then got two long self tapping screws and screwed them into whatever was present behind, it did work, sort of but every now and then I still get the bloody annoying 'tac'.. Give it a go, you won't be able to see the screw heads 'cos the foam donut hides the heads. Cheers.

I may well have one Left over. IS there any chance you could get the number off the Glass? There should be 3 'E' codes and next to them the actual part number. Does Your Corrado have the early 5 slat grille or later 3 slat Version? Cheers.

Very difficult to find 2nd series foglamps now, in good condition i mean, not the usual tat with browned reflectors, chips etc.. I might have a set left over or maybe just the battery side, i'll check and let you know mate.

I'll second what coullstar said. Which reminds me, I've got a spare 9A valver turbo short block for grabs..

Vr brake discs are 5 bolt compared to the g60's 4 bolt pattern.. Same thing applies to the mk3 golfs.

Start pulling out those dam 2 series foglamps, I know your hiding them somewhere..you toad..
