  1. Coilpacks from VW are not much more than GSF / Euro and you get a 2 year warranty. Same goes for leads - You really can't beat genuine ignition parts, last years!
  2. If you go for the MK3 Golf part rather than the Corrado one you get the 2 clips on the bottom that fit onto the newer alloy master cylinders.
  3. Rear brakes are a lot more involved than fronts and usually ending up costing more too... At minimum you need discs, bearings, pads, carrier bolts and ABS cages if fitted. You also want to think about spalsh sheilds, new calipers, carriers, handbrake cables, bias valve, brake pipes, abs sensors etc etc...
  4. Have you got a ported head? - if so this will drop the boost reading...

    ATE Brakes

    Eurocarparts are an ATE supplier.
  6. You need the red passat manual - covers the 9A engine.
  7. Mod intervention - Just read the post(s) about Abdul and also note he's been posting on here recently to - I'm PMing him now and I would expect him to refund ASAP or be banned from here. A note to anyone else reading this thread - The marketplace on this forum is well regarded within the VW scene for easy, reliable and open transactions - we want to keep it this way and any abuse of this will end up being banned and user details / PM's / Emails being passed to the police as required.
  8. They are about £20, new cable should sort it but also check the sleeve and the angle it goes thru the bulk head.
  9. Yeah it's just VW / Audi boxed stuff - available from any VAG dealer or TPS
  10. 000 979 950 - most dealers will keep a couple on the shelf
  11. Kev - that stuff is meant for inside the car I think, the felt helps not to create rattles - it's not weatherproof but probably ok to use externally if needed. Anyone can order it - £3 a roll

  13. Ah, must be your specific postcode. Sorry. Great response
  14. Yeah channge it asap - you'll either damage the Master or bend the clutch fork by leaving it.
  15. A Corrado should feel very similar to a MK2 in terms or cornering but much more planted and far better at higher speeds and under braking. If it doesn't and the shocks are new then it will be either bushes or bad geometry - assume this was setup after the shocks were changed?
  16. Brakes, wheels - you might find most of the drivetrain is compatible too!
  17. Yeah, was going to say they should have and also the holes where the bushes go - also all the threaded bits should have been left, easiest way to do this is to leave bolts in the holes / nuts on threads. Looks really good though the nylon and like you say powder coat is good but can crack etc - just need to find a place round here to do Nylon.
  18. Yeah, was going to say they should have and also the holes where the bushes go - also all the threaded bits should have been left, easiest way to do this is to leave bolts in the holes / nuts on threads.
  19. Check fuses and relays are seated correctly - chances are you disturbed something while fitting the master
  20. What age is the car slim - assume it has digital clocks? If so then it's a small black thing that screws onto the top of the rear of the box with a 3 pin plug - you should see the wires running t it unless it's been ripped off or something strange...
