    Welcome to the forum - I would reseat the relays and then try a new stalk.

    Don't accept the car back until your happy - make sure you pick it up in good daylight and have a good look over it

    Yeah - looks like a poor fit or one of the brackets has moved or a broken rubber?

    Hmmm... 028 919 081C supercedes to 021 919 081B but that part is not fitted to any Corrado's... 081D looks right but the one I took out of my G60 is 1H0 919 563 which according to ETKA is a part for the 2E engine Not sure what part number went in but I would have checked it at the time - I know the new ones have a flat top so you need to chop the locking spade connector off and reterminate a new one checking it fits the new sender first of course!

    You've got the wrong cap - GSF sold me one a few years ago for a mk2 16v that fitted but not as well as the old one I took off... thought it was ok but a couple of weeks later it was full of water.

    Yeah - it's to do with the current I think - a mate of mine had this with a knackered battery.

    Struan - when was the fluid last changed?? A mate of mine had his brakes go really spongy shortly after the car went in for some paint, we think something from the spraybooth either got absorbed into the brake fluid or something happened when the car was in the oven...

    VR sump from VW is about £40... thats much cheaper than the 8v item!

    VR Clutch is also cheaper... About £100 in parts from VW + 3 to 4 hours labour..

    Yeah - realised last night they don't do H3 Super's I was so tempted to pay the extra fiver for fitting the 4's too and watching them struggle, lol!

    Also - if the pedal switch is knackered it will stop it coming out of park...

    Sounds more mechanical but have you had it on VAGCOM?

    Maybe depends on climate but VW doesn't recommend anything less than a 10 unless the car has been run on 5 since new.... I tried some 5w Syntha in my G60 when I first got it and it was pissing out all over the place, changed it for 10 without doing anything else and it was fine for a good couple of years...

    Yep - just ring them Struan... if you get good discount rates then you should be able to get them for about £4 I would have thought they'd be cheaper from GPC tho but depends what the postage is like...

    Yeah - the H4's will make the most difference but I'm gonna get some 3's too me thinks as they've never been replaced.

    I got my Bentley in 4 days from amazon.ca - amazing but yeah, not the best time of year for ordering stuff...

    I bought 4 Rainsports in 195/45/16 for £199 all in inc new valves and trye disposal etc... 205's shouldn't be much more
