    The BOSCH silicone ones that Halfords sell are pretty well made and it makes sense sticking with BOSCH as the G60 cap and plugs are BOSCH also.

    Kev - did you try soaking the tappets in oil before fitting?

    Bl00dy hell Joe - I assumed you had one of these already fitted! - I'd never consider taking a G60 or VR6 on a track without, 130 is way too hot IMO :?

    In the knowledge base there is a doc on how to convert the window switches but not the sunroof - I think it's only 2 or 3 wires tho and they are most likely the same colour from early to late so shouldn't be too difficult

    I don't think they are Poly-Ribbed tho?? - The G60 ones they sell certainly aren't... Gates all the way for me...

    Out of interest what Mileage was the charger on and had it ever been rebuilt?

    Worth spraying some Plusgas on the bracket bolts etc a few days before...

    Err... what car do you have??? Only the VR6 and G60 got the 280mm brakes out the factory (VR6 being 5 stud also) Get the OEM poly ribbed belt, no substitute!

    Yep - I can't understand people who try to sell cars with no MOT as from the buyers point of view there could be almost anything wrong with it - even buying a newish Corrado with a full MOT you can spend thousands getting it right. As a seller it may sail thru and cost almost nothing and give the potential to get alot more for the car!

    This is why it is a must for companies to keep a detailed journey log of who is driving and where, there are so many camera's about at the moment you'd be stupid not to!
