The spoiler will just be dry, mine was like that when i got it despite the car just having a full dealer service, bit of silicon spray on the runners should make it noise free again. The other two and hard to say, could just be dry belts or under-tensioned so they are slipping... but then again you could be looking at a new alternator and PAS pump! - did you check the belts at all? Have you driven many other Corrado's?? - reason I ask is that most that i've driven (but not all) seem to have noisy pas pumps especially noticably on full lock - It's worth checking the correct (green) fluid have been used - Red ATF fluid will destroy the steering rack seals.

I love mk1 Polo's - Better shape than a mk1 Golf IMO...

Probably about 2-300 quid depending on tyres, aftter all a new set of decent tyres will be £200+ on there own...

Wiring fault... try and get them up and then take out the fuse to stop them going back down again.

Don't think the 8v's have an auxiliary pump...

scarlett, before you do anything - are you using the right Key?? IE - your not using the valet key to try and open it??

Also starnge is that you can order one side or both but not just the other side... (look at ETKA and you'll see what I mean)

Pigeon it is then mate...

You can bridge the wiring to the thermoswitch to test the fan works...

I'd change it asap.

There is a pin as well that works itself loose...

Also note the Corrado Jack is Corrado only, a mk2 Golf one won't do! As Kev says - try the dealer

The badge Kev, I got one from the dealers last year but i think they are now obselete - I reckon GPC just bought all the remaining stock...
