Sounds good - does this come with everything needed to do the conversion?? - ie the charger outlet and all brackets etc..?

Much easier to replace the whole wishbone and it costs about a fiver more than the bushes seperatley and will save loads of labour time!

Hmmm, not good - I was seeing 2000+ on my Stage 4 charger and 68mm pulley You can retard the timing by moving the dizzy but it sounds like you'd be best to get it checked out and setuop by someoe like Gwerks

carpoid, yeah, stuck the original one back in and it ran even worse... Best of all the tax has just run out and with no MOT it's just sitting on my driveway... Looks nice tho, I'm thinking of cutting the roof off and using it as a flower bed!

Thats what a mates G60 golfs seems to do but mines doesn't, just pulses engine off and on... I tried his ISV as well and it does the same as mine (in my car) and doesn't fix the fault... You can check pin 2 (goes to the O2 sensor) and this earths near the plug (not to pin 6 on the ECU) Having been thru everything and checked and double checked, I now think i may have a fault with the MAP sensor as timing seems to constantly change (even after the BTS is disconnected) :(

Yep, pedal rubbers are 60p from GSF... and check the 3 screws holding in the headlamp, if one of the lugs is broken either get the glue out or fork out £100 for a new lamp unit... Lights - get the loom off Gavin and but some decent bulbs (GSF and Maplins now sell the Silverstar bulbs also) and you should be able to see if the reflectors are bad, if you can't see them then you probably need new headlamp lenses too... -
LOL - I suspect he probably did tho as Ford seem to be upto 50% cheaper than VW for VR6 parts...

Do you hear the pump prime when you turn the ignition on, Also check the wiring to the Hall Sender (distributer)
