  1. There are 3 about i think, i've seen one or two of them... I heard there was an R reg also but never seen it.
  2. Good good, always best in this sort of accident as hidden damage can appear later and you'll be covered for it... example - Mate got rear ended in mk3 Golf, got a cheque from the person after various quotes and as he had the cash, decided to buy a bumper (correct colour) from scrapyard for £30 and touch up the very slight scratch where it had rubbed the bodywork.... Job done... .... so with his £200 profit he purchases an iPod, 2 months later the central locking fails and VW charge £170+vat to diagnose and fix with a note on the bill to say the connections had gone rusty and water was still leaking where the underseal on the back panel was cracked and to get it fixed asap unless he wants to buy a new C/L pump every 3 months...
  3. Hmmm - they should have been able to order a new barrel with the VIN number from VW - more than likely the door handle broke and they couldn't be bothered to swap the barrels...
  4. 8) I do like a bit of rice from time to time...
  5. Miss VW - you don't have much luck do you! - lucky it didn't hit the paint tho... I'm living on a new 'estate' now which is growing pretty big with new houses and altho i've had no trouble whatsover, i'm seeing more and more kids walking about (of the Cheltanem Average variety) so i'm thinking of sticking a wireless video camera up outside and record any movement over the network - anyone got a setup like this??
  6. Thats what I don't get - Halfords do a good quality wrench for £50, why don't most tyre places use them?? I know impact guns are quicker but I think most enthusiasts would appreciate the extra care of doing it manually
  7. Yep, do a search, the reg numbers are on here somewhere... Dec, btw - just flown back from Dublin, been all over the place the last 2 days and didn't see a single Corrado! :|

  9. Yep, reject it matem you work in a VAG dealership FFS and you know what the quality of service should be... Marshalls will always mean 'Vauxhall Dealers' to me...
  10. Do you mean the fan?? - if so then you probably just want to look at the rheostat (resister pack) first, it may just have blown the thermal fuse - use the search, loadsa info on here...
  11. PhatVR6 is your man for this, I think he is using a modified mk4 shifter on an O2A box...
  12. All the senders should show resistance weather they are hot or cold - test them again, they can't all be dead!
  13. Yep, Bentley is a US manual and only covers the 2.8 VR6 AAA and the 1.8 G60 PG engines
  14. Yep, they under read with age - change it..
  15. I'd be happy with anything over 200Bhp...
  16. PeteJ, make sure you get Bosch W6 DPO's - the only plug for G60's... They are about £10 each from the dealer but you can get sets of 4 off eBay for about £20...
  17. Scruffythefirst, what bodykit are you running on your Corrado??
  18. Have I missed something - what cheque where when.....
  19. LOL - yeah, just take the lamp out (3 screws) - It can be done tho with pliers but easier to take the unit out - Just unplug and unlip front grill...

Hmmm - just read your doing a 16V G60 - not sure what exactly you'll need, may depend on weather you mount the alt where VW Motorsport did and use there bracket or you custom mount it under the charger.... I'd have a word wih John - 16VG60...

VW do a 90amp one specifically for the G60 but its stupidly expensive, about £250 + the exchange surcharge but will be cheaper from Bosch dealer but still about £150 altho they may be able to take your standard one as an exchange...
