  1. Here is the Dr SHRICK catalog (Adobe Reader needed)
  2. errr.... I'd get the heavy duty wide one from G-werks, remember that belt is driving a component that will cost over a grand to replace (if it isn't already knackered!)
  3. Just get them from a VW dealer if you have one near, not very much at all...
  4. About 3/4 hours labour plus the geometry setup... Best to get the dealer to look up your car by VIN number to see what plates you have then order them if you need them...
  5. I was in Kevhaywire's car the other day and he reset the MFA at 95mph and it started at 25mpg and climbed up to 28 while keeping constant speed, quite impressive!
  6. Surely you'd notice the 50% drop in power and grinding noises coming from the charger!!!
  7. Or most petrol stations will have some, worth carrying some spares if you like to 'play'!
  8. Supercharged

    Mazda rx7

Mazda use a PCD of 110 I think...
  9. Yeah, mine fit fine with the standard speakers but i also cut them out so I could adjust them easily... Did the garage not do the allignment after fitting?? - fair enought they want bedding in but they only need to take it up the raod and back then set up the geometry, you will notice a major differnce when this is done!
  10. That maybe when the MAP sensor kicks in...? G-man will know...
  11. You don't get out much then! Sory mate, hope you sort it, I have similar issues at the moment...
  12. Dinkus is with Elephant, they seem to be a doing a good job sorting his current situation considering his recent claim before the current one...
  13. nick48480, Yep, the fronts are fairly straight forward but the rear discs have the wheel bearings pressed into them so you may as well change those at the same time as you will most likely damage the old one getting it out, same goes for the abs rotors, its just a metal cirle really that presses on. The rear calipers require winding back as well, Halfords sell a tool for about £20 or Draper do one for a bit cheaper...
  14. Not really had any experience of Volksbits discs but judging by the other rubbish they sell I wouldn't touch brake parts with a bargepole, my mate bought a 'alloy' filler cap for his Golf at a show, went rusty in a month, sent it back and the repalcement went rusty in the post!!! The discs will be probably made out of compressed tin foil and if they sell pads you'll probably just get a box of Cadbury's fruit and nut bars... Yeah yours will be 280mm (5 stud) - stick with the Brembo's and Pagid Fast Road pads from GSF Rears - remember you will need new wheels bearings and ABS rotors with the discs...
  15. Yeah, Henny should know he currently runs a 10 caliper setup, pad changes must be a nightmare!!!
  16. Come on Mistrall - whats an eating disorder got to do with spelling!
  17. Yeah me too - lol! I'm around Manchester at the end of April!
  18. Still not sure, bought some Draper HT testers at lunchtime... Got some new earth cables ready to go on but running a jump lead from the neg to the GB didn't seem to help.... When i was in the motor factors I got them to look up the dizzy, they also listed 3 for the PG engine (??) and the price was stupid - twice as much as VW but they also list an Ignition module - what is this, it's only £20 and I wondered if it was the Hall Sender and was actually replaceable, just one of those bits VW don't sell seperatly??
