Quick question, does the corrado g60 come with ABS?
Supercharged replied to oldirtybastard's topic in General Car Chat
How do your braided hoses know when one wheels locks up under heavy braking then?? -
The sender is in the expansion tank itself...
-
If you've got ABS you should buy new rotors too...
-
I think I mean't were your existing ones BOSCH boxed...
-
Buy some Mountain Spring dude, LOL!
-
Corrados are 200k's heavier than mk2 Golfs
-
No. seriously!

Ant, still having probs with mine... Do you really think it was the plugs all along as it would even start before?? - or did you change the dizzy also? Just had a look at mine, the spare set of plugs I had in the garage were bought at Inters last year (£20) and are VAG boxed and have the black rings, The one on the car were bought from VW 2 years ago and also have the black rings... Were the ones you got off eBay VAG boxed or BOSCH?? - maybe the black rings just mean they are made under license for VW?

G12 has now been replaced with G12+ (which can be mixed with both G11 and G12) -
Good stuff Insane_VR6, I've had a look on the .CA site before and there is some good info on there!

Welcome to the Forum!
-
Yeah, Kongo - thats what I was thinking, maybe slow to build up pressure or something...
-
Sounds like a faulty battery then, take it back - maybe its been on the shelf too long...
-
Don't give up dude, especially as you live so close to G-werks/Pit stop/JMR etc Sure you'll sort it, I'm looking at mine tomorrow so will update tomorrow night.
-
Yeah, VAG exhaust are great and mostly cheaper than pattern parts, even cheaper if GSF sell them. The only thing I would say about the VR system is that it's seriously heavy and if you want to save weight then aftermarket is the way to go but if you don't want added noise and just want a long lasting quality system then stick with VAG and you can even get it fitted by dropping the rear axle so it's not cut (same as original)
-
Hmmm, had a look in my old hose last night but nothing there, maybe it was fitted to US cars only...
-
martyjmcflyjnr, I take it you hav a VR?? - there is a fundamental design fault with there VR6 system which has been mentioned several times on the forum recently, it can be made to fit but will always be a bodge...

He's tried another ECU, does sound like the dizzy if it made a noticable difference when you cleaned it..?
