...and learn to spell the words 'number' and alternator' ....and 'exhaust' and 'always' - !!!!!!!!!!!
-
that one, the first one is the BOSCH part code
-
Interested in the RC's!
-
Use the correct hose from the dealer, should be instock and doesn't cost much.
-
Unplug your stereo completly, drive the car - if the spoiler doesn't work it's not the stereo!

Bosch Red Tops are the way to go for tuned G60's
-
Still intermittent but more and more regular, started it this morning to get it off the drive so my dad could get his bike out the garage, idles for a couple of mine fine and i drove it off and parked it accross the road, sat in for another couple of mins and reved it a bit, then started idling rough and then stalls, restarted ok once but still rough, stalled after 1 min then would not start after that... According to ETKA there a 3 different dizzy's for the G60 but that is the part number I need....
-
Cheers Ant, I can here the ISV but it's not as noisy as some other G60 ones I have heard, always been like that tho... I have an Earth from the TB to Coil, the ones on the side of the head are fine, not sure about the gearbox one... where is the main engine earth?? It started cutting out at idle but got worse and did it driving along a few times, so maybe is the dizzy... I have a mate with one i can swap but his is the early kind and Stevemac also has one of these new for sale fairly cheap... do you know if the early ones fit the late G60 engines?? - can't think what would be different, they are both BOSCH and HS plug is the same - Unless they physically don't fit?
-
Does it make a difference is you unplug the BTS while running?? - If not, it's foooked!
-
That will be a faulty sender in the new tank then!
-
Hmmm... They look great on those angled wheel shots, kind of reming me of Venom's tho...
-
It is indeed but the light you see blinking is the low coolant level warning.
-
Cheers Ant, used a jump lead from the battery Neg to various point and no difference... Where should the gearbox and engine earths be?? Hall sender has 10.94 V without engine running (ignition stage 2) Stuck new plugs in this morning - shat myself when I couldn't get number 1 out and thought it was crossthreaded!! - got it out with a bar and was relieved when i saw the thread on the old plug was fine and the new one went in fine after some cotton-bud cleaning and some wd40 on the thread... Again, spark seems fine on all 4 but after a while it starts to struggle, buying some HT/spark testers tomorrow. Would/could a jammed ISV cause the engine to cut out while moving??
-
Yeah, just changed mine and found the old one to be 95cm despite the OE clip on the TB...
-
Wish I could, spent all weekend testing stuff! I'm buying some spark testers asap and a new VAC pipe for the throttle body
-
Might have to get you to tow my car up there...! No seriously...
-
Is that an original part??? I want I want...
-
Might as well but its a big job, new rear brake bias valve required.
-
Weird, I thought Stealth recomened OE rear beam bsues on the Corrado! As yours is on lowish mileage they probably won't NEED changing but the rubber tend to go hard/perish with age rather than milage so may be a good idea to do them to improve ride quality etc... Have a good day tomorrow!
-
That is the best way to set then up I have heard, but will also self adjust if needed
-
Has it been above 4th gear yet!!!! - I did more miles than that in the last year!!!
-
It can do yes, loss of back pressure may cause it to use more fuel and judder at idle.

Nice one, John is a top mechanic, He'll get to the bottom of it!
