  1. Can you here the pump? If so then maybe they've frozen up - turn your rear demister swicth on to heat the jets...
  2. Remember there is no going back as the foam is now obselete!
  3. only if they are the beru's, quantum ones are sh1te...
  4. Did you use your old resister pack??? The mk2 ones that GSF sell only have the plug for the 3 speeds not 4... 4 is no resistance.
  5. Yep, the Pads are 50% bigger if not more...
  6. You tried cleaning the ISV?
  7. What engine is it dude?
  8. G60 standard alternator is 65a, you can get a 90a but its stupidly expensive! Not sure about the regulators - I thought they were all the same from speaking to a local autoelectrician...
  9. That will teach you to buy another VR them won't it!!
  10. I wouldn't in case any foreign objects (and unfiltered air) get into the charger... You put a small K&N on the ISV and a pipe onto the breather (catch tank optional)
  11. http://www.gsfcarparts.com
  12. Looks good, Welcome to the forum... Thats Aqua Blue Pearl BTW - Mystic Blue was a Storm colour only.
  13. McLaren were a bit rubbish during 2004, something that might have been down to a rare form of drag that engineers often call "David Coulthard"
  14. Not sure, they were there when I reply'd earlier... Dinkus - Amazon.de are out of stock...
  15. GSF - make sure its an Luk one, people have had problems with SACHS recently.
  16. Oh Jim, nice one, at least you eliminated the water pump altho I'd change it anyway if/when the charger is rebuilt... It will probably start squeeking again tho - if it does get yourself some belt dressing spray (silicon based)
  17. Yep, the proper Polly V belts last longer as well... Jim has a 68mm pulley tho so probably needs a shorter belt unless Jabba modded the tensioner, If its a Gates one it should be made the same as they make the VAG ones...
  18. Yeah, try the thermoswitch, GSF sell them and you'll need to remove the battery and use a 30mm spanner to fit, If you swap them quickly you should'nt lose much coolant.
  19. Mine didn't snap, I just replaced it! Just order a crank bolt from the dealer, looks the same as the original but has been superceded by a non stretch type... Part number is on here is you search.
  20. Hmmm, I didn't think the 040 was a replacement, just a different tyre...
  21. Hmmm - there are some above the passenger shelf behind the glove box but I thought they were for the ABS Have you also looked above the fusebox?? Mostly alarm fuses are under the bonnet but not sure about Factory fit
  22. Yep, either demand a new one (especially as there will be no risk on increasing the claim so much so that they might write it off) or do what I did and buy a good second hand one off here for £50 and get other bits done instead of the bumper repair.
