  1. Good work Andi, looks ok to me and hopefully won't be seeing that bum again.

Time for a donation me thinks.

She still exists, but hopefully you won't get the 500 errors any more that caused her frequent visits..

I've pixellated her bottom now too: (still slightly NSFW though?)

I will do a new design that is SFW soon - it's on the to-do list!

  2. Speed is good, very hard to read through the headlines- in 'what's New'though.

Mixture of blue and black type - then overtyping - difficult on the eyes.

Otherwise what I have viewed so far, looks good

Known issue with the avatars. I'll try and get it fixed soon. You can still click "the Corrado Forum" banner to see the old What's New view.

    I approve, nice work Andi.

Don't know if I told you this, but it was seeing your old purple C around Redhill/Reigate yeaaaars ago that made me want to get one (I used to live in Earlswood). Small world! Right, enough butt kissing - back to work!

Haha, nice to hear! Purple was and is always the best :-D

agree with sean, other than thats its a lovely looking set up and it runs alot faster. Maybe get some sort of corrado related detail (outline of something) incorporated into the "the corrado forum" header block.

    but yer, its sweet!

I plan on updating the banner with the logo at some point. The current one was a 30 second job ;-)

Thanks for all the positive feedback, guys and girls!

I hope it brings some love back to the CF :-)

  3. Great job guys, really fast and smooth on my chrome browser and looks the biz too :thumbleft:

    Many thanks to all involved.

    Glad to hear it!

And I had Toby on hand with the backups in case something went wrong, but was just me doing all this.. :)

  4. Hi all,

Just to let you know there will be some downtime on Thursday whilst Toby and myself upgrade the vBulletin software and do some essential maintenance.

Today we migrated to a new server (apologies for the 15 mins downtime earlier, I pushed the DNS transfer button too early!) and hopefully the site should feel a little snappier now.

Significant changes are happening on Thursday (hopefully fixing some long term bugs too) and perhaps something new for you all... We'll see ;)

Any questions - pop them below.

    Thanks, all.

  5. See post in 'Editing posts v2' - think it's a known vBulletin issue at present.

    I don't understand why it's suddenly just appeared... Nothing's been changed server-side!

I'll get it sorted at some point, sorry ;)

  6. Known issue on a few forums at present - I was talking to VR6Pete who runs the VR6 Owners Club -- same problem on there.

Think I need to get the forum software updated and/or move to IPB....

It's on the to-do list. Sorry - I'll get it fixed when I get some time!

  7. Help me out here with some detail, please.

Links to threads for example and what browser are you useing?

Do you have any popup/advert blockers?

Have you installed anything that might have affected this?

I've just scanned through some threads, and it's all working perfectly for me..

    (Windows 7, Chrome browser)

  8. Sorry the arse is still prevalent.

We've put some temporary fixes in place to try and reduce the errors, but are yet to find the source of the issue.

    Arse.

It's this arse thing that stops me wanting to become a paid up member...

Kinda a catch-22 there, because without paying members, I can't afford to get things fixed.. :)

Same here. Funny though as vr6oc having page loading issues and we both use the same hosting provider.

As in OVH, or Toby? (Take to PM if required)

  9. Hmmm, I can only reproduce this when I use Internet Explorer...

Lemme guess - you're all using IE aren't you..?

Ok, it seems that IE can no longer handle URLs with a £ in the address... *shrugs*

As most of the For Sale URLs had the title in the URL itself, they had a £ too, so would fail in IE.

So for now, I've disabled the 'pretty' URLs so you're just directed to the topic number or forum number - no name in the URL.

Seems to be working... Let me know?
