    I got it from Screwfix, £13 for 5 litres and I just used it neat through a spray bottle. Leave it on for a few minutes then scrub with a wheel brush, pressure wash off. RS's are staying put and staying original.

    Cool, I thought it was the guy who I sold the cover too then realised its my car! doh! What was bill thinking fitting a de-badged grille! Thanks Jim, I did read about that on here somewhere and I intend to take the rubber boot out and give it a good clean. Hi Chris, Yep - see you at Elsecar.... I put my name down for the CCGB stand.

    I paid what I thought was a good price when you take into account condition, mileage, extras and a nice set of original RS301's I know but its next on the list and if anyone has one going spare, let me know.

    Looking good, I bet someone who does paintless dent removal would get rid of that for less then £100.

    Had the day off on Friday so I decided to clean under the arches and put the summer wheels back on. Used som APC from screwfix and it worked a treat. Gonna have to look at restoring the rear beam next as its a bit rusty.

    bloody hell Jay, you dont mess about do you, this will be a new car when your done. Get pics up of the powder coated parts as soon as. Might have a nice steering wheel coming available soon ;-)

    Nice one, A1 VR6's rado has been used at least once or twice a week including all over the winter, I just make sure I wash and wax it every weekend. only a small mark on the rear arch from some t**t but that will be repaired, no stone chips gained though. Jim, get the car out and give it a good blast then a really good wash and polish, make sure you get to Elsecar and the love will be back!!!!

    Amazingly clean engine Paul, did you do it all yourself? Mine before: And now: Cant beat standard with red leads! I just need to try and get to the gearbox, ABS pump and other bits to clean.

    Thought I would post a quick reflection shot. Been machine polishing today in preparation for fitting the RS's back on (Friday I think). Going to spend Friday cleaning under arches, pics to follow. Oh, and if anyone can recommend a good cleaner (APC?) it would be appreciated.

    What a nightmare mate, really gutted for you and know how you must be feeling. Has it chipped any paint? The paintless dent removal guys are pretty good these days. My mate run someone down and they rolled over his bonnet and made a right mess. Paintless dent guy came down and £75 all back to normal.

    Spent well over an hour polish and waxing 1 of my RS's in preparation for putting them back on for the summer! 3 more to go............

    Mine occasionally starts and cuts out, does it about 3 - 4 times then will go. Where can I get the imob deleted and where is it?

    Bloody Hell Paul. Hope you get better soon. Things people will do to save going to Cleethorpes! It looks like they cut you with an Axe not a scalpel, thats one nasty cut. I think the wifes Bike will be going up for sale...........
