I've got some original black ones from my 95 VR, not sure what condition they are in.
  2. I heard about the Cycle to work scheme but dont know anything about it really, gonna have to look into it. The only problem with the new found liking of Mountain biking, do I spend the money on a new bike or a Supersprint exhaust for the Rado and live with my mountain bike??????
  3. Ha Ha, I bet you would!!! Cheers, I'm going to go look round some of the local shops and check some out. AAARGH, you've got your bike resting on the car! nice bike though.
  4. Wow, cheers for all the replies. Thats some serious food for thought. I am 6ft tall and probably look to spend between £350 and £500 i suppose. Might pop round at some point Matt and try your bike for size, are you selling? What size should I be looking at and how many gears? If I see one I like, I'll pop it on here first for opinions. Sounds like Mountain biking is pretty popular on here
  5. My daughter loves the Corrado because she is taller then it! Our daily is a MK5 GT TDI.....
  6. A guy at work organised a day at dolby forrest mountain biking last Saturday so 8 of us chucked our bikes in the back of his van and off we went. What a fantastic day although I'm paying for it now as my legs are burning! They are on about doing it more often now and I wouldnt mind a better bike as mine is a 13 year old raleigh with no suspension. Anyone do mountain biking and can recommend a good make or bike please? Also, my work is moving factory and will now be only 3 miles from my house so will probably use the bike for commuting. (less use for the rado now so will be able to tackle a restoration of all suspension) Cheers
  7. Nice one Stone, looking good. Need to get a battery cover and the stickers for the bit over the radiator now. Unusual those orange hoses.
  8. Looking good Jay, them wheels really suit the Corrado. Does it feel any different with all the new rear bushes and stuff?
  9. Brilliant thanks, where are you in Hull and when is the best for you?
  10. Wouldnt mind mate, got MOT looming and ABS light is coming on more and more as well.
  11. Would this sort my occasional problem of it firing and then cutting out?
  12. Wonder if that Corrado is still about?
  13. That Deals On Wheels was 12 years ago, MOT history checks are only since the new system was introduced around 2007 ish.
  14. I bought a couple of things from the USA and Royal Mail paid everything then charged me before I could have it delivered. Not sure what they'd do if you didnt pay?
  15. Nice one Matt, how do you know when your old ones are knackered?
  16. The way your going you'll be able to fit a full respray and Engine rebuild before Sunday!!
  17. Nice work, The powder coaters look to have done a good job.
  18. Ha Ha, only messing - I know how busy you must be, will it be done for Sunday???
  19. That Storm looks great when Mike is driving it about. Would probably have been interested in that one if I hadn't already bought mine. I think someone needs to tell Deals on Wheels to watch for ABS and Sunroof problems too.
  20. Nice work Jay, Wonder how much that will all weigh when its assembled????
  21. Just seen this on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1995-VOLKSWAGEN-CORRADO-VR6-STORM-G60-16V-GOLF-/280847417511?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4163cf80a7 As used on Deals on Wheels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dw-yzPIhUoc&feature=relmfu No mention in the advert though!!

  23. hi Matt, I did put a quick coat of dodo Juice under there but just a token gesture really. I just use Collonite 915 (i think), its great on the black plastic and doesnt go white. Drop me a text and we'll sort something before Elsecar. Unfortunately most of my time is taken up with my daughters Swimming, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I teach swimming Thursday and often Galas on Sundays!!
