  1. Came across this - very well put together http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AaU3MFNxO ... re=related
  2. Looks good, IMHO the ATS Cups look too plain on a Nugget
  3. Neither - wait for the Touring version or buy a C63
  4. Not to my taste but looks nicely done http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2008/10/bm ... -full.html
  5. Good old Tas seems able to turn his hand to anything and everything. About the only reason I visit E38 is to follow that build thread
  6. You need to do a guide on this - NOW :D
  7. Congratulations. Don't rule out keeping the Corrado as your main car. OK, mine is not the main family car but when we have gone away for the weekend in it its been fine. Child seat wise its no problem at all, have quite a bulky Recaro seat now that the little 'un is 13 mo nths old. Its amazing how soon the amount of clobber you need to cart around is reduced - wife swapped her Bora for a more practical Saab 9-5 estate and now realises that the Bora would have been just fine. Only compromise we had to make when using the Corrado is that we had to use a buggy as opposed to a full blown pushchair / pram
  8. I bought a Halfords branded one a couple of years ago for about £60, light, two cigarette lighter style plugs and a tyre inflator - its been superb
  9. Don't know Wendy - I missed it as well, its on ITV4 so will almost certainly be repeated in a few weeks

  11. Repeat of the Festival of Speed programme from 5pm to 6pm then this years Revival Meeting from 6pm to 7pm
  12. Shouldn't be aproblem, you need to have an operational rear fog light but no need to have working front fogs
  13. Goldie - fortunately he lives about 100 yards away from me so if it had not been perfect I'd would have made his life a misery. I was considering a full respray but would rather keep it in as original condition as possible, I like the fact that its not perfect but is well looked after
  14. Had a couple of blemishes done on the Nugget today. Anyone who has seen my car this year will have noticed the left hand side of the tailgate had a small area where the paint had literally worn through, there were a couple of other bits that I needed doing as well. I know that Nugget is prone to fading and is therefore a difficult colour to blend in but the results are superb. The guy took about three hours - cost was £160, admittedly not cheap but happy to recommend him to anyone in the Shropshire / Staffordshire area - he also does alloy wheels, dent repairs and plastic welding. James - Flawless Body Repairs Tel: 07912 443487 Couple of after pics - all it shows is paintwork with "no join" :D - apologies for the dirt in the rubbing strip channel, will all be cleaned this weekend
  15. I swear by my bonnet bra - only put it on when travelling, 30 second job to put on and take off, not created any wear marks on the bonnet either. Hate the look - like the protection
  16. Think the Passat CC looks superb but as a drivers car the series coupe is a hands down winner In the right colour and with decent wheels it looks good as well - not pretty but appealling in a strange kind of way
  17. Considering a deal on a 1999 Golf 1.8T, lovely condition but has done 137k. High mileage doesn't really concern me - condition is more important but I'd there anything I should look for specifically, car has a full service history and has recently had suspension overhauled and coilovers fitted.
  18. Got a couple of little bits that need doing on the Nugget - has anyone got any good experience of anyone around the Telford / Shrewsbury / Bridgnorth area
  19. Mk6 Golf is 17% cheaper to produce than the MK5 whilst interior quality has improved. Volkswagen Group now have a new platform strategy that will see a platform lasting for two model cycles without major changes - shortening development time / costs, shortening model lifespans and helping to keep them in profit. Frightening to consider that the MK5 Golf takes nearly 80% longer to produce than an equivalent Focus
  20. Corrado Forum group hug anyone :D
