As said above, the front springs may be harder but they should be ok, depends on how hard you like it.

Why not just take the top connector part of the CTN speedo which will leave you with the standard thread for the cable drive

On race cars, the smaller the diameter the bore of the master cylinders, the stiffer the pedal, but the greater effort required. So if you require a stiffer pedal, get a master cylinder that's smaller that the OEM one.I was thinking of questioning this but I see your in Banbury and are talking about race cars so I assume you work for a team?

On mine, the fourth that is not threaded I have shaved back so the cam belt cover of the 1.8t doesn't hit it.

No. Can't afford non essential items. Missus has just paid a deposit for a bloody Malamute puppy now!
You needed to do what I did, and show her pictures of cute mongrel puppies, we now have a jack russell crossed with a poodle that was advertised as a jackapoo... (but cheap as its a mongrel :) )

If that plug is the speed sensor then it needs to be connected and fed into the ECU,
Mine didn't have the speed fed into the ECU when I first built it and it would run rough and jerk about after hard acceleration. I ran the speed sensor to the ECU and it was fine.
Mines on an AGU ECU.

Is all the audio conversion done in the front panel? Did you check if there were direct tracks through the face plate connector and to the main unit so you wouldn't of had to drill into the face plate?

You cab get DAB aerials that replace existing bee sting aerials like those on the Corrado and its multifunction too so has connection for DAB, FM and I think even GPS.. But it was like 90 quid. Maybe another time!!There are quite a few cars with these fitted standard so maybe a good look round a breakers could come up good, I know some fords have the roof mounted DAB/FM aerials
