Interesting stuff Karl, what colour are the hoses you have been supplied with and are you connectors stainless? Also what size heat exchanger have you got? Im intending to mount mine in the same place you have done yours, i reckon itll fit there nicely even with the AC condensor fitted... I may have to ask you to get me some bits in the not too distant if you wouldnt mind...

You need the carriers that come with the calipers, these can either be from the G60 or the VR...

Fair one Charlie, the car that the kit was taken from didnt look particularly well fitted TBH so maybe thats why im feeling the need to shift it...

Yeah, id connect to the existing cooler with the panel off then refit and mount it all up before th bumper goes on...

Cant imagine there being many standard height G60s around here.. will it not be the same suspension that it fitted to the early Valver? If so, may be worth having a word with Tom and having a look at his car as its still on standard suspension IIRC....

Im not happy with the pipes and heat exchanger that comes in the kit so the plan is to get some stainless hose conenctors, braided hoses and a smaller heat exchanger.. Seems there are a few places to put them, im going to try and put mine in the bumper in front of the rad. You can put them next to the radiator (Drivers side) and right at the bottom of the bumper (Passenger side) on the corner although it wont get as much airflow through it in this position. Im a bit broke at the moment so mine will have to wait a little while....

Mine is lowered to around that level, maybe a shade more and the car is dramaticaly better in all departments, looks and handling, high speed stability. It is a firmer ride but in a reassuring way as the KWs are excellent...

No probs mate, just use it with kitchen roll and itll shift, takes a while but does the trick, small fingers will be usefull though...

Autoglym bug and tar remover does the job, i had the same problem..... It is safe on the plastic and the glass...

Yip, sounds like a HG to me and agree with the prices, id consider 400 to be a good price... If you have the time id seriously consider doing it yourself, it is a big job but if taken a step at a time itll be very rewarding and youll save yourself several hundred quid...
