  1. A gold one would look great against your Blackberry, maybe paint the 301s to match :)
  2. I hope you dont mean the Gold one Bill :) Typical that the primed ones are still available.. Im not sure about being able to paint one Tom, im not sure how factory i could get it to look, what do you reckon?? If all else fails ill need to get one of a car thats getting debadged or has been bananad..
  3. The rear Corrado badge on my car is passed its best and would like a new one so.... Are these still available from the dealer? Anyone have a suggestion of where to get on if not? I dont fancy paying a million quid on Ebay for something that i could have gotten elsewhere, Im after a genuine one aswell in the silver finish, not the early ones that are primed for painting..
  4. 300 quid for a refurb will definitely be sufficient, id be expecting some change although im really in the know about splits.. I have the KWs on mine and they are excellent, it does sit quite low, but not decked, and rides comfortably but firm and handles brilliantly, id definitely recommend them.. Ive always been led to believe that supersprint are excellent systems and in the not too distant may go for one myself, i have however listened to KIPVWs Magnex and is lovely and carries a longer warranty period than the supersprint system, both weigh in at about the £350 mark..
  5. Righteo, once ive got it ill take it in and see what he reckons.. Cheers Martin...
  6. Yep, i think some coillies are required... Other than that looks like a good car, paint looks nice as do the rims... Any plans for it???
  7. Im not offended with that at all Charlie, the plan is to have a debadged and a standard grill so i can chop and change as i feel, it will be colour coded to remain in keeping with the car.. Itll be a couple of weeks before its sorted, expect some piccies...
  8. Sounds like its gonna be like a new car when its done, bet your well excited!! Would appreciate the ask, hoping to have the grill early next week and am keen for it to be done shortly...
  9. I have to say i agree, shame though, id absolutely love one...
  10. Theres quite a lot about this on here so do a search.. Basic idea though is cam change and a 50mm inlet manifold will make a healthy difference... Im sure some of the Valver guys can advise you...
  11. So the car revs normally bu wont move, are you sure the clutch is connecting?? The Mt90 is very good and does come recommended by many around these parts..
  12. Ive had some stange ones: Corrado Storm £600 TVR Tuscan S £1000 Aston DB7 Vantage valued at 75000 £2000 Aston DB5 valued at 175000 £450 I just need the 175 grand to get the car and ill be laughing.. I got a quote for an Escort Cosworth when i was 19 and they wanted 6 grand off me... OUCH
  13. Welcome aboard... Lets have some pics and some more details of your Rado.. Enjoy..
  14. Travelling along the M3 this afternoon at a healty pace when a very nicely modded S3 came up along side in the fast lane, matched my speed exchanged a thumbs up and shot off... As i was loving the drive with the new schrick that put the iceing on the cake!!!
  15. Good man, i always knew you were a tear away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. If this car is a non runner as per the title ill eat my hat... And yes, it is that quick, its brilliant, hats off for doing it all yourself...
  17. I was gonna say Paul, you dont use your car often enough to break handles....
  18. Thanks very much Andy, ive tidied up the leads today so its looking better and am hoping to have the metal rocker cover on by tomorrow... Youve confirmed the need for a debadged grill for me!! There wont be any chargers by the meet Martin although id love one, all in good time i think.. Is there any news on your paint job yet?? Reckon the guy would fancy painting a grill for me??
  19. Id be interested in knowing about this as my jack isnt proving to be much used since the car has been lowered, i have a halfords one which has served me well for 10 years so i cant grumble.. A mate of mine has a Skyline that is low it rubs on yellow lines and he has something that goes under it, ill ask him and report back..
  20. Im running EBC slotted and dotted discs and green stuff pads on mine and they are fine.. Ive been advised to stay away from drilled through discs as they are the ones that more vulnerable to cracking, drilled ones from Porsche etc ar casted with the holes in so there are no weak spots.. Only prob i ever had with the EBCs was when i was running 280s and one of the discs warped but the company sent me a replacement set and arranged courier service to collect the original ones, cant argue with that...

  22. Looking lovely, nevermind the camera, the car is lovely...
  23. The nut rounded between the flexi hose and the solid line when i did mine, i hacksawed the solid line and then swaged a new union on and it was straight forward from then on... Expect a phone call tomorrow morning...
