  1. aye aye sailor, do i take it you had to come up for air, and the first thing you did was log onto here  yeh i'm sure you will be able to get one of those manifolds, when you get back onto some english terra firma, give me a call, and i will help you spend some more of your money... karl Now then, yeah back for a few days and then off for a long stint, any wiring youve got left and a manifold would be spot on.. Completion date for your conversion yet??? Rotrex??
  2. Looks good on the new rims mate, nicely done...
  3. Ah, progress Karl, looking good.. Any chance of one of those manifolds???
  4. 17s definitely the proper size for a Corrado, with a 205/40/17 tyre youll be fine...
  5. I havent mate, everything is on hold until i return.. Quick note just to wish everyone a nice summer season with their cars, i go away with work tomorrow until October, upon return though its in with the R32. I had the pleasure of trying a Mk5 R32 a couple of days ago and it was great, power delivery and soundtrack are superb, car felt a bit sensible so hey ill have the best of both worlds.. All the best.....
  6. Nicely done Karl... Wish mine was getting sorted as soon as yours...
  7. Some handy wiring diagrams here.. Im not sure how much of the loom i may be missing so may have to build it back up. Is it a case of buying bits from VW or can someone suggest someone who can supply the bits at a sensible price??
  8. It certainly has and after looking at all their work ive approached and will be getting them to do mine very shortly...
  9. Saw the caddy at Ud (i think) and it is superb...

    F**d Pumas

I quite like Pumas and have done since they came out, i know it has a girly image but i could live with that and 2 grand for an R plate - anyone want my Mk2 as id quite hapily run one as a daily.. Being Fiesta based means cheap parts and easy maintenance. Got to admit i love Fords, not so much anything thats available now but all special models up to Mk1 Focus RS and all the way back to Mk1 Escorts, Cortinas etc are cool as you like...
  11. It is a toughie this Nikki as that is quite a personal car, known to be your especially with the plate..
  12. The back of the seats look similar to what biggerbigben used to have in his, may be worth asking him...
  13. Fair dos, i though all leather had the elements in and those that had been retro fitted may not have been wired up..Heated cloth - no that must be rare...
  14. All leather seats are heated (fronts only) whether Recaro or standard when fitted frrom the factory.. Recaros are electrically adjustable and standard seats are handraulic...
  15. Extras such as Recaro seats and increased colour options are what the advantages are but if you want a storm , like i did, then they arent overrated because its what you are after. AC was a dealer fit option on any car.. Prices - purely on condition, not mileage id say, loads of history and id say start at 4k for a decent Storm.
  16. Going to be stupidly nice Dan, look forward to seeing it whens shes all done and dusted..
  17. Im sure they will both be fine, the powdercoating will come off once you start pushing bearing in and the stub axle face will probably go the same way.. If in doubt use a file and remove it..

    R32 engine

Im planning on using the stock ECU for mine, im only missing the MAF, inlet trunking and the fuel hose. As the MK5 only has a single fuel supply to the rail ill need to invest in one. Part prices from VW arent too bad really but i suppose if you are used to Corrado prices then we are used to being big spenders.. Ive ended up with the full wiring loom for not just the engine but the entire car, fingers crossed there arent any important bits missing...

    VR6 bonnet on a G60

Yes it can no probs.. Dealer price for the soundproofing around 80 quid, unsure of other suppliers...
  21. Shame about the seats mate but the wheels look cracking...
  22. The top picture one is a standard Corrado item, the other one i havent got a clue, im unsure what that curly bit is on the back.. New ones - go for Mk4 Golf items, cheap from the scrappy and much better than your originals. Work will standard size discs and pads...
  23. Dont think you should part company with it mate, if im honest the interior isnt my bag but its a cracking car that ive admired for as long as ive been on here...
  24. Looks fantastic, you lucky so and so... :)
