Bit of a bummer about the charger, imagine there will be one on the shopping list.. I think this car has had the most amount of changes, engine, colours etc since ive been on the forum and you change things so quick, fair play to you...

I wouldnt sell your one to buy a storm if your happy with it.. Some people buy storms because its a storm and some buy them because of the spec, for me it was both, ive never thought it superior to any other its just got a nice badge on the back and VW decided it was worthy of a special run and im not going to argue with that...

I bought mine in august 05 and have enjoyed it ever since.. I actually emailed the guy who i bought it from some pictures last week and he was over the moon with how the car has come on. He was very uncomfortable at the idea of the car being changed dramatically and seemed complimentary of the changes i have made - happy days.. Had a vlaver for about 6 months before that but if im honest it was crap, i learnt alot about Corrados from that experience, probably the reason i was so anal about buying a 2nd...

Got to admit the Zonda does nowt for me, id take the money please.. I have seen one on the M1 in grey and yes the noise was borderline sexual.. I got a much nicer tingly feeling when i got overtaken by a Maclaren SLR, i definitely swap my Corrado for one of those... :)

Its not really the rain im worried about and your right there maybe is a spot or two more up here.. I dont want presents from the birds sitting on the car for long periods/direct sunlight.. Council garages, ive been searching high and low for a garage to rent but you know the score i want it somewhere im going to have a car to come back to.. So Bosun lives on, was getting worried that it may have been making a visit to the Corrado hospital for a while there.. The AA man definitely was barking up the right tree and tbh even it was just for the tow to the garage was worth it. While towing the Corrado my poor golf was feeling ashmatic, it wasnt a happy boy at all...

I really wouldnt say mine was mint and ultimately mine will end up going in for a respray but all in good time. Id really like to get my slam panel repainted in the mean time as the strip under the lights has taken the brunt over the years, im not complaining though as my bonnet is suprisingly good.. I think what Rob is saying is that detailing is the process of making the best of what we have, my paint is no spring chicken and neither is his but with some care and quality products/cloths etc etc then it can come up very well.

IIRC they are Porsche fitment 8.5 x 16 RSs with homemade adaptors so its running the original hubs...

Ok, i will be moving North shortly and so will be garageless so am thinking of getting a car cover. From a small bit of research there seem to be many types available, indoor use, outdoor, long term blah blah so im not sure what the best bet is.. I need one that is for outdoor use for periods up to 3 months at a time and want it tailored to the car.. So, anyone got one, where did it come from, any recomendations, any other info i need to know as i want something decent and dont mind paying accordingly, i dont want anything that is going to make a mess... Thanks in advance...

Id imagine he will be able to shift adaptors all day long. Go on E38 and advertise them on there as FK etc items are expensive and it would be easy to undercut their prices...

Twin 20vt Mk1, that is going to be lethal.. The Mk2 with the mini dash and the C4RBD reg plate is fantastice, saw it at E38 and it is awesome..

I just fancied a change and got a brand new VAG oil filler cap instead.. Make unknown, i bought it from JBOB on here ages ago, its an ally pressedcover that fits over the top of a standard filler cap, i never stuck in on though so its as it was..

I no longer use the one i have Bill. Its down in Pompey and im not for 2 weeks so if you can wait that long im sure we can sort something out....

Use number one, i think the gun will have instructions giving you a guide. YOu can set it up to run on super or normal unleaded depending on what you use....

My Golf was a bit like this until i fitted new Ht leads and distributor and set the timing correctly...
