    FOOT PEDALS

No picture im afraid Bill but ive got Mk1 TT pedals in mine, not to everyones taste but OE parts that just tidy the footwell off nicely for me...
  2. Its not easy, it involves cutting the surrounding area from the Audi doors and welding/filling it into you Rado doors.. Nice of done properly, have seen some though where you can easily see the join between old and new and it looks poor..
  3. They are from an Audi, quite a popular upgrade...
  4. Fine car this one, when Asim had this on the RSs it was up there with Gareths (OSV).. Love Moonlight Rados.. You lucky so and so...
  5. Sorry to hear this mate, fingers crossed for getting the old girl sorted...
  6. Not a car headunit maintainer Judith.. Im used to nicely layed out large electrics - not snakes weddings in car dashboards...
  7. Probably not a great deal Ben, i reckon theyd be best of being kept as i will with my Solitudes later in the year when they come off...
  8. I think Shaun just hurry up and Bi the kit... :)
  9. Very tempting as it is i dont think anodised blue and cream really works... :)
  10. Im very flattered with the nice comments.. I think the Corrado is a stunner in standard from and admire thos who keep them standard, particularly at show level, its easy to buy fancy wheels etc to hide behind so to me extra credit should be paid to these people - Kip, Judith, Drew, Chris Gaskell etc.. When it comes to my car i try to go for things that dont age, drastic modificatiosn are the ones that are 'fashion' and therefore become dated. A good example is Mk2 Golfs, 10 years ago smoothing the rear number plate and refitting it to the bumper was in, now it looks aweful whereas simple and small touches like loosing orange lights and lowering will always work. Wheels come and go but 20 bolts isnt a major job although when my special wheels land later this year it will take something incredible to replace them. For anyone asking modify or not its up to you, do whatever is going to make you enjoy the car to drive and look at, reversible mods are always a safe bet but some permenant ones chosen wisely will be fine...
  11. Those seats have come up very well, you must be well chuffed with them.. Love the gear knob.. :D
  12. Thats just greedy Shaun, going to be rediculous in a cool way..
  13. Well if you gonna be sorted tonight you can get yourself to Stanford - places are avilable....
  14. Come on then mate what are the new wheels?? Was admiring your car at Stealth the other day, very nice...
  15. 205/45/17 is the wrong size for a corrado, they need to be 205/40/17s.. The 45 instead od the 40 means the overall wheel diameter is too big and your speedo will be wrong and it will increase the chance of fouling the arches..
  16. Id not be happy about that mate, id be making a complaint and warning anyone you know against using them.. It is good to do the bits yourself, i do one service a year myself and the other is done at the dealers - seems a shame to break the history after 13 years nearly. I find aswell itll help you to get to know the car better so when things are running abit funny or go wrong you know what youve done and can diagnose / find faults easier.. BMC, do it.. Am i going to get to see this car at Stanford??
  17. Love the 612 spaggetti.. It was bigger than what i thought it would be when i saw one...One day... :)
  18. My bad, late ones just prise off...
  19. Welcome to the forum.. the speaker grills do come off, just prise gently. No need to remove the whole door card...
  20. Right, sorted.. Had a bit more of a fiddle around and there were 2 phono leads in the back that are for the interchanger. There isnt a port for the main wire thats needed to run the changer, i pulled the phonos out whilst messing about with it, tried it and it was fine, put them back in and it tripped again. Ive taped the phonos up and secured them out of harms way, also tidied everything up that was in there and shes as good as new, no tripping or interference in the speakers at all.. Guess the main beam (worst offender but wipers did it slightly) was messing about with the power through the interchanger which is earthed so you were quite right fellas.. Hope that is the end of the problems, PM coming your way Junkie about speakers...
  21. It just trips the headunit, it has a little think and then comes back.. I cant work out which is actually the earth lead, im not going to lie, i know bot all about car radios..
  22. Erm, im not sure if it relates to engone speed. It makes noises though when wipers are switched motor is switched on and switches off and on main beam when the car running it sounds terrible. If i flash the main beam without the egine running the headunit trips..
  23. Right ive had a look and...i dont know what im looking at.. The red and yellow power wires have been swapped over and it powers up correctly and holds its memory. When people say bad earth where abouts does the radio earth on to?
