The l shaped brcket clips onto the top of the abs pump and holds the resistor in place

Why not just put it in the rear centre arm rest where the first aid kit sits

If they cant diagnose the problem then how do they know its the pump until you can get vagcom working you wont know, what were they using to diagnose the problem a laptop or one of them portable handheld jobbies as last time i was at psi tuning they plugged in the hand held one but came up with a load of errors, plugged in the laptop and no probs Andy who owns the place said that the hand held ones dont work very well with the older cars. But any way if the used a laptop they should have been able to diagnose it. Saying replace the whole sytem is the easy way out and a way of making money off you!!

I got mine through vwspeed but the picture on ebay looks pretty much the same as mine

Only true way of telling whats up with the ABS is to get it hooked up to vagcom a vw specialist should have vagcom

Ive got a set of P6000's on mine already had two on so thought id go for a complete set of four, cant say ive had any major probs with them, and they seem to be lasting ages even when i light them up all the time in the wet :D four wheel drifts are fun in the wet :lol: Grip in the dry very good and since they are a summer tyre should be

Did the foilage cover seal replacement, and replaced the clips on the lower windscreen panel today(Think i found half a trees leaves hidden away in there lol!! and also replaced my noisy motor for a brand new one and also a brand new resistor pack, no noisy bearings now :D Thanks for the write up Yan Anyone who thinks they cant do it you can hardest part was trying to release the clips that were on the scuttle cover :bad-words: Cheers Jon

think it goes through the bulkhead, pull the carpet back on passenger side (maybe remove the undertray first) and you should see the grommet
