You know what i mean mate. It is a good engineering solution and something probably my dad (engineer) would suggest but lets get a proper solution made up.

After my brothers heater cog suffered the dreaded heater directional cog breaking to then find out my spare (which i thought was in a1 condition) heater control had suffered the same fate. I thought it would be a good idea if it could be 3d printed but i dont know where to start, what company to try etc. So just thought id see if anyone had any input as of which to try? Cheers Jon

Or if anyone has the bottom cog on the directional dial (on a broken set of heater controls) we could use that instead.

Did you go with the ebay ones Andy? I need to replace mine as i had to break them off the coilpack to get them off. Bodged for now but will be needed and ideally i want red ones.

Had the same thing said when my brother went to get his laser aligned at kwickfit they wouldnt touch it because it was lowered. They advised him to take it to a vw specialist. Begs the question why have an expensive machine if lowered cars cant be aligned on it.
