  1. no, as I never read the suppliers forum because I thought it was for professional sellers or something like this  well next time I'll post there. thanks!
  2. hi; used search to no success, I know there are lots of posts with this info but I just can't find them.... I need to renew the 3 coolant temperature senders on the gearbox side of my KR head, the three of them are the same and etka says their part number is 049 919 501 or 027 919 501. which is the correct one? thanks!!!
  3. well, it's good to know that my car has one less thing to go faulty
  4. ok, then I'll leave it as it is  I don't have sunroof by the way :confused4:
  5. hmmmm so if I remove the roof stripes I'd see some kind of hole or something that connects to these pipes? btw.. if I remove the roof strips... will I be able to put them back again, or will they die in process? Mine are really hard, they don't look bendable at all
  6. no, not for this. the fuel drainer is in the inner section of the wheel arch. this pipe that you can see in the pic is on the other side of the car too :confused4:
  7. I've always been wondering.. what's the red-circled pipe for?
  8. it looks like these are common rado habits / paranoids  I also had the driver's side floor mat checking so that it's all the way back, and I fixed it by adding some velcro to it :notworthy:
  9. why would one do this mod?? I've fixed height one and I'd like to have adjustable :nono:
  10. Ignition ON, and switch off the climatronic (yes it automatically turns itself on, don't know why) Scared of the oil light flashing (that's normal, but still scares me ) Same, with battery light Crank and pray for the engine starting up at the first attempt with no more than 2 - 3 turns (specially if there's people arround :norty: ) push door pins down (I've seen, maybe, too many things in my street :ignore: ) Select Oil temp on MFA, and wait until it is up to 50ºC, then start driving it, carefully, without going over 2000 until oil hits 90ºC a) On the motorway, keep speed up to 115K-h (70MPh?) so that the spoiler doesn't go up, until take-off time  b) in the city, sometimes raise the spoiler by the switch in order to see the one behind my car's face :norty: :norty: :norty: then try to put my arm on the steering wheel so that no-one notices that I've raised the spoiler by the switch  after A or B, look at the tailgate when I stop in a set of lights so I can see the people's face if they ever notice that the spoiler is moving Paranoid habits: -hearing any PII PIIII from out of the car, and instantaneously looking at the oil pressure light buzzer -if anything smells like fire or burnt plastic (even if I see that there's a fire at 50m of my car) I think that my car is on fire and quickly switch off the stereo, lower down the speed and try to find any shortcircuits :norty: -same as above, but with noises. Any cr4ppy diesel car next to me, makes me think that something sounds bad in my engine bay -push headlight switch slowly so that both hid bulbs turn on and I'm going to stop typing as I could write a bible right now about how this car has made me go mad    ...
  11. Can you sleep in a car? Can you drive a house? :salute:
  12. oh sorry I didn't spot the "kit" word in your thread, so I thought you were looking for some bleeding tips ... :ignore:
  13. if you do it by pedal feet-pumping, put a piece of wood or something under the pedal so that i doesn't hit the metal when you push it
  14. I had the same too, so I bended both arms a little as well as blades. not that great mod as I thought it would be though..
  15. well it's not just a matter of not wanting to pay 6€ for this gasket; but because of last one I bought was something like 3€... speculation everywhere  however, there are chinese aerials (complete units + gaskets etc) at a price of 8€.... so i think I'll get myself one :)ç edit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... &viewitem=
  16. what does that mean?? If it means what I think, ... I'm definatelly not paying 6€ for a piece of plastic...... and buying it locally will allow me to get it fixed tomorrow and not waiting for 2 weeks..
  17. Hi there, I'm in an urgent need of an aerial gasket, and I've seen that ebay ones like http://cgi.ebay.es/Skoda-Fabia-Octavia- ... arParts_SM have suffered a price increase  can anyone tell me the part number for this gasket, so I can buy it locally? Thanks!!!
  18. Bottom of p1 - Schematic - two green circles are the bulbs. Pin 31 is the connection to the wire you have modified. You have not understood the mod. The switch internals can have/has the electrical shorts to the wire on pin 31 of the switch, irrespective of the bulb being blown. Congratualations, your Corrado now has one less fire risk :) . I should read things twice or more   however, my headlights work OK with this wire cut :| and now some bulbs (climatronic one, which is connected to ignition) and (mfa bulb, connected to ignition as well) don't work. It looks like everytime i fix something, another thing goes wrong :(
  19. hm, I realised (may I have read the thread first? ) that this wire is only for headlight switch's inner bulb, I mean, the one that enlightens the "bulb" picture, isn't it? well now, this light doesn't work in my switch, so I think I've done a pointless mod :brickwall:
  20. I only have 5Amp fuses ATM. is that ok for this? Or too much?? I think that if a short occurred, a 5A fuse would blow itself so that'll do the job, won't it? Thanks for the DIY
  21. I'll try to get a job in there then :norty:
