  1. Hello mate, Very interested. Happy to pay full asking price but would need them posted out ASAP. Regards, Stu

    VR6 Late ABS Pump

Cheers mate. Looks like the kiddy. PM me what you want for it, I can't remember now.
  5. Happy to supply washers with these kits for interested parties. I understand the theory behind using a washer to spread the load however the difference between the diameter of the 'washer' part of the flange bolt and the diameter of the head of the socket cap is so marginal I really can't see what difference it would make. Ill gave a look into what washers I can find that will fit the sump setup as they will have to be sized according to available space around sump profile.
  6. Guys, I did initially send out some emails to gauge manufacturing, but didn't get a particularly good response. I will however endeavor to put out new feelers and see if I can get this to take off properly.
  7. For Sale: [Pair of] Corrado VR6 Wheel Bearings. These are OEM fitment SKF kits - P/N VKBA 1491 Due to a monumental supplier 'cock-up' in which I received 'french rear bearings' instead of these, i've ended up with two sets as I couldn't wait for a return/exchange item. Consequently the following is for sale... 1x Kit contains the following: SKF Wheel Bearing 2x Retaining Circlip 1x Driveshaft Nut Quality of item is excellent. Price: £70 the pair. [Just want back what I paid for them]
  8. Can start an initial run pretty much asap, my supplier only had enough in stock for 5 kits so i'll begin with that. As far as the washer query goes...? Standard bolts don't have washers, yes they are flange head allen bolts but i don't see why these tightened to the correct torque won't fit the bill. 1. Goldie 2. Dan_Storm 3. Benjevw 4. Dude VR6 5. Rams If a mod could move this over to Group Buys, I'll get this rolling.

Where abouts in the country are you..? Might be interested if close-ish.
  10. Right, bit of number crunching tonight based on my supplier, I can do sets like the above for £7.50 posted. ---------- Post added at 9:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 9:28 PM ---------- Also I don't wanna step on anyone's toes supplying these, merely thought I'd offer an alternative to expensive new items.
  11. Bump. Could do with this gone so offers please.
  12. After recently looking into the cost of replacing all my sump bolts as part of my VR6 rebuild, I was some what shocked to be quoted £1.24 a bolt after VAT. For those that are interested, the VR6 sump has 26 M6 bolts holding it in. Quick bit of math gets you to £32.24, a figure I can't say I wanted to pay for bolts which I've rounded in the past despite best practices. I'd started replacing various other bolts with stainless items so set about sourcing some suitable sump bolts. I've managed to get my hands on some A2 Stainless M6x14 Socket Cap Heads which are pretty much perfect for the job and set about fitting them along with a new sump & oil pump this weekend [i say fit, hand over to my mechanic of a brother and instruct the replacement]. The result: [No Apple products were injured during the taking of these photographs] Consequently I should now be able to supply a kit of 26 M6x14 A2 stainless bolts for your VR6 sump for around £8-9 posted. Please register interest below and if there is reasonable interest, I'll get the ball rolling. Any questions, feel free to post below. Cheers, Stu
  13. Pretty easy really, I'd recommend buying some new plastic fan insert surrounds as these tend to be brittle plastic. Other than it's, remove radiator assembly and unbolt the fans etc...
  14. Think I've got an old set of callipers lying around also. Will check next time I delve into my box of brake spares.
  15. FS: VR6 Radiator Fan Cowling Surplus to my requirements now as I've had my own cowling blasted and coated Satin Black for my rebuild. Has been powder coated gloss black at some point in the past which has helped it maintain a good finish and is far from the tatty examples seen on most VR6's these days. Unfortunately though some pitting & a small amount of corrosion has worked its way in towards the bottom edges of the item - see pictures for full details. Only other point to note as this has been trimmed at some point in the past, due to application one would imagine. This modification however has no detrimental effect on fitment or fan use once fitted - just worth noting. These are around £85+ from the Stealer if you can still get hold of one. Pics: Price: £35 + postage. Collection welcomed from Flitwick/Cranfield/Northampton dependant on day/time. Any questions, feel free to post below or drop me a pm.
  16. Hey mate, Do you still have the ABS Pump if so could I have some pics of the item. Cheers, Stu

    VR6 Late ABS Pump

In real need now of a Late ABS Pump for a 95' VR6. Needs to be 'known' working with no valve/error code issues ready to pass an MOT. Car will have new ABS sensors all round so will show faults immediately. Cash waiting for such an item. Cheers, Stu
  18. All sorted now and kit has been received. Thanks.
  19. Just thought I'd report back mate and offer some thanks. Method worked a treat over last weekend and was much quicker than the episode we had fitting the same bushes on my Brothers Golf VR. I ended up using a old exhaust sleeve clamped down and large Audi S4 suspension washers and bolt setup. Couple of ratchet spanners and I was away. Once you've got the method down it was easy, despite a couple being little blighters and wanting to pop out. Shame your selling up as I liked where it was going but everyone has to move on at some point. 😄
  20. Just sent a pm across, let me know if you receive it.

Merely chasing my bolt order, could really do with it asap to continue my rebuild.

    Cheers, Stu

  21. Hey, can you let me know if you are getting my pm's..?
