Thanks guys, I've followed that pinout guide to no avail. I did some more voltmeter investigations. ignition to stereo buzzes out (i expect this is normal) - reading of around 0.07 ignition to r/wh (perm live) when turned to accessory position buzzes out - reading of -0.05 ^ I have a feeling this is not normal Also switched the wires around between perm live and ignition to see if security light flashes when key in accessory position, it didn't flash. Could something be shorting?

You can detach them, I have a spare if you want it? :)

It lights up as in if you turn on your lights, it'll illuminate. It doesn't get backlit, the only indication it's receiving power is a flashing security light I think it's definitely getting power, because i've blown a fuse when two wires touched, after that. I've disconnected the battery like a good boy

Hi there, I've recently tried to tackle my lack of a stereo, it works as I tried it my other car. I've traced and the switch ignition (red/brown) all the way to the ignition switch and it buzzes out ok. I've done the same with the red/white to the back of the fuse box. Ground buzzes out on other grounds too. So I'm a little stumped what to do, when lights are on it lights up (grey/blue illumination), when battery is connected security light flashes. Anything I'm not doing that I should be? I've used this wiring diagram https://imgur.com/Q7rOWsk

They really do, I'm bugging the people responsible to get some late ones made. I may need to ask someone to get CAD out...

Yeah, it shredded the sidewall of my rear left tyre so needed to get it sorted before I put the new wheels on. I also followed the manual with the spring setup, whereas the garage who fitted them decided to put both retaining washers above the bump stop rather than one either side... 17's, but I'm happy you think that! I already miss the RC's :( Last night I fixed the electric mirrors so now they work. Two last electrical gremlins to go: 1. No radio (ignition live wire is dead) 2. Heated seats plug in (hopefully got a TV box sourced to fit OEM)

New wheels, no more spacers! This is the first picture of the ride height sorted with the mk2 eibach springs (on a bilstein b12 setup)

I emailed this chap in 2017, still waiting for a reply

Thanks guys, yep swiftkid, that's the ones thank you! I'm planning on retrofitting the TV5 box to hook up my heated seats as OEM intended. Wish me luck

Hey, I'm looking to wire in my heated seats but don't have the TV* block necessary coming from D9 on the back of fusebox. Can you buy these clips anywhere? I'd like to do a proper job!

Do you still have / do these? -
They look great, how much for the headlight clips?

I've used a local fasteners for bolts, and they are a _lot_ cheaper than eBay This is who I use locally, there will be surely one local to you too https://www.selkentfastenings.com/ (M8 X 10 HEXAGON SETSCREW HT 8.8 BZP (DIN 933)) x 10 for £0.35 inc VAT

Car is back together, seems to be working all fine. I have replaced a faulty ABS sensor, fixed a broken bonnet cable clip, and also fitted the Kurzy loom I've had since 2015. Car is almost ready for MOT. Then supercharging. Also picked up some used Eibach springs for a mk2 golf that stand higher than the supposedly "correct fitment for a corrado b12 kit springs". I'm not buying it but whatever. It's over now.

Does vBulletin have a smoke test you can run to ensure runtime errors are caught before release? Looking forward to this! -

There's no user setting to disable bbcode, it almost definitely lives in the forum admin though. -
I use the same one
