I had the same thing and it was a faulty oil sensor at the front of the engine
-
Checked it, no fractures, I think i'm going to need a new rad. Merry Christmas :D
-
I sold 8 bitcoins 2 years ago to buy my corrado. Today that would be worth £112k, corrados really are a money pit aren't they.
-
It doesn't mention heated so I'd estimate less?
-
Yeah definitely has a VW number, I'd have sent it straight back if it wasn't :) I think I need to double check for micro fractures
-
Unfortunately this was the o-ring from vwheritage Hmm i'll take a look, but I don't think so. I was looking at new rads but I was really hesitant after reading they don't last as long as the HELLA ones.

Evening folks, I recently got a new rad elbow flange from the Greek eBay bloke and snapped my old seal trying to get the old one off in one piece (it had become solid plastic). https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Volkswagen-535121647/652579365?iid=272761703784&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D48786%26meid%3D1d92e9f982b348a98a8680041d423c6a%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D112628166042&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 I ordered what I thought was a like-for-like from vw heritage but the rad elbow is still leaking when pressurised. https://www.vwheritage.com/535121687-seal-for-water-take-off-535-121-647-mk2-golf Is this a common issue? Do I need to get the proper rad seal from the Greek ebay bloke? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-VW-Radiator-Top-Flange-Seal-O-Ring-G60-VR6-Nos-535121687-/272761705577 If not what have you guys done, have you used gasket sealant?

Tapatalk makes the images not remember for me, never had a problem with chrome, try emptying your cache and removing all the porn history, it might need a spring clean. I think it's 'clear browsing data'. Make sure you uncheck cookies though as that'll be your remembered logins to forums and whatnot

Morning folks, I yanked out the glovebox earlier trying to trace a wire and found these two disconnected wires, I was hoping someone could shed some light on? If it helps: - Stereo doesn't work - Electric mirrors don't work - Still has a disconnected laserline alarm/immobiliser behind the dash. I'm sure one of them is going to be the glovebox light, but my glovebox has no light.

Thanks! Saved me some smoke!!
-
Call me dumb but how do you wire this up to your battery? Which side is supposed to go through the fuses? I assume negative but wanted to double check...
-
This is one of my local rados, there's also one further up Brockley road towards Brockley station. You'll see mine sometimes on the south circular if your eyes are peeled!
-
If you need some more help Rob I can dig out some pics of mine plus wiring diagrams I've sourced to try and help me along the way... however I have no idea where to plug in the 2 wire switch? Where have folks plugged in their fuse switch wire? I'm still lost with mine, i've tied it in a nice bow behind the fuse box for now.
-
Front and back I assume and Corrado specific? Do you have part numbers and pics?
-
Is this defo the outer seal mines a lot shinier than this?
-
Yeah that's right, piccys please :)
-
I'm after the shiny bit that goes around the outside of the window above the outer scraper Anyone got one, mines all bent and mank
-
Looks can be deceiving hahahaa

Silver rado in Wollaton on Sunday morning. Got a nice smile and wave in my green one

FOR SALE Split Rims, Late Black Cloth Seats, Gaz Coilovers!!
culshaw replied to stu37's topic in Parts for Sale
Sorry that was awfully unclear what i was referencing with my previous message. I'm interested in the coils but wonder how much they rub with 17"s. I've got the Bilstein b12's but they sit too low at the back for me. -
