  1. Walked 12km along Pembroke coast. Haven't seen a corrado yet... Where are you all
  2. Carrier bolt: https://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3488 Front panel that supports the radiator: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=corrado+slam+panel&_sacat=0 no idea about the fuel filter, sorry!
  3. I'm trying to test fit my rotrex bracket but am worried it's fouling the fuel rail and alternator pulley on idler pulley (but I think I can move that) Am I being overly cautious?
  4. I have a miltek decat for sale if anyone wants it £50 plus postage
  5. Fla, I only know this because I've been digging in the crates this morning. This should hold your answer: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?17287-The-Forced-Induction-VR6-thread&p=503309&viewfull=1#post503309
  6. As an aside Reddit also has a corrado subreddit Way less active than anywhere else though https://www.reddit.com/r/Corrado
  7. Thanks, I will! What did you use to blank off crack pipe?
  8. Absolutely pappin' about it going on! :)
  9. Has anyone here blanked off their oil cooler when fitting a mocal? I don't _really_ want to but the kit I've been supplied does this. Therefore I have two options: 1. Use a piece of pipe to link the crack pipe back to the block. I'm thinking this https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/samco-8mm-135-degree-blue-hose-elbow-e135-8 2. Get an extended bolt for the cap With 1, if you have the knowledge, would a 135deg bridge the two neatly? With 2, if you have the knowledge, have a link to the part you have or bought? I would much rather do option 2 but I can be convinced otherwise!
  10. Stripped the front-end, replaced all the coolant hoses with Samcos. Treated the rad support, it wasn't in terrible condition but a layer or two of hammerite will help it Also dug out my ambitious next step but am nervous about strapping it on and blowing up the engine given it's done 150k after 3000rpm. There's a metal prong welded on (you can see on far-right). I'm unsure what this is for, it doesn't seem to fit anywhere on first glance.
  11. I would assume it works fine with vB 4. Here's the tapatalk announcement thread with the latest version highlighted and direct download url https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/tapatalksupport/tapatalk-for-vbulletin-plugin-release-announcement-t4104-s170.html#p207985
  12. I support this forum, but the volume is not here. Onboarding to the forum is a lot harder than using a facebook page. How do I upload an image to the forum? Oh, I can't. The fact it no longer works with Tapatalk is awful. It's halved my usage of the forum.
  13. I'm supercharging the old darling, so I want to be on the safe side given I haven't got a spacer head-gasket in
  14. That's all I needed, thanks!
  15. Good morning! Welcome to the forum. You'll find a wealth of information on here, as well as on the wiki http://wiki.the-corrado.net/category_general_corrado_info.html I've got a miltek de-cat just sat in the garage if you need one. Just let me know
  16. I was walking around Balcombe on Sunday, sad I didn't get to see your car!
  17. I'm about to plunge into the icy cool world of cooled oil, I found a kit and wondered if anyone bought from this seller? if so, any good? Any recommendations not from this seller that you've bought from? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-CORRADO-VENTO-VR6-MOCAL-13-19-ROW-1-2-BSP-ENGINE-OIL-COOLER-KIT-MLR-RN-/123151837298 Thanks
  18. Has anyone managed to rip out an entire audio harness? My stereo has never worked and no matter where I try to test for voltage I get nothing, so planning on ripping it all out. Also if anyone has, where have you purchased from? Thanks!
  19. This happened to me last year too. I endered up ordering a new rad from vwspares.co.uk. Hella one, it's much better. I'll be test fitting the elbow this week and saying some prayers.
  20. Hi there, I snapped a bolt out of this spacer the other day so need to source another, before i go about failing to drill it out! I need number 33 on this picture. A place to buy number 32 would be a great bonus to!o.
  21. That shock tower photo made me wince. I hope it's just surface rust.... god knows how it would get wet on the inside though :(
  22. £36 for the pair (including postage) is much cheaper than £36 each from VWHeritage, unless Anna is handing out 50% discount :D
  23. Thanks, I saw these but wasn't certain it was the right carrier My ones aren't only stuffed with rust. I cleaned them and lubed, but some plank has painted the rubber grommets too
