In preparation for a week of tinkering with the car have just got these speed line back from lepsons, 5 day turn around not bad
-
Car looks great on the bbs rims fancied a pair of those myself. Keep the solitudes as winter rims splitties ain't to keen on the cold and wet.
-
Odd one that may be worth a call to castrol to clear it up. There must be some reason behind it but I'm no oil expert.

Got this from the wiki section http://the-corrado.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=47117&d=1306929551.

I could see my schrick manifold going up for sale.

Been mentioned to me city of bristol college are doing demo's and practice sessions on panel beating, spraying and welding should be pretty interesting. -
I got one a couple of years ago from BIGPANTSBABY on this forum it was through eBay but he still might have some new ones up for grabs.
-
Friends dad has 19's rx2 on his JAG and they look like a completely different wheel my favourite are the bbs gt shame there so big and expensive.
-
I prefer the 16's on the corrado they look more in proportion with the car but as a wheel strangely think the 17's look better as the spokes are longer and has a slim appearance.

Big thanks to Mr Lobitos who has offered on the deffinative tyre thread to sort out tyres for forum members with the buyer donating 5 pounds per tyres to the forum. Tyres arrived pretty sharpish and the price very competitive. Out of curiosity if this was installed on an obd1 engine would you need a custom ecu or would it be a case of having your existing ecu chipped or mapped? -
This is the result I got from some turtle wax polish and poorboys blue wax. I like the pebble effect might get some wrapping in this pattern.

Things you hate other people do to your car...
captainredeye replied to guildmage's topic in General Car Chat
Get that at work there's an end space next to some bolards which is about a space and half just so I don't get any doors flying my way came back one Sunday to find a smart car sandwiched between me and The other car with less than a foot to spare. What a toss. -

Had a friend who jumped in my car first thing he did was light a ciggie, I did smoke at the time but never in the rado could of knocked his lights out! -
See i know others who use it and never heard of a problem! Have been on motul 8100 for the past year but consumption is going up and need a thicker cheaper oil, so will be going with the castrol.
-
So its not a good oil to be using on a vr? Just been on there web site typed in my reg for oil finder and magnatec was the one castrol recommend! VR6joni Where did you find this documentation?
-
Must be bran muffins!
-
Noticed on the advertising banner above apart from the blinding opportunity to date cougar's! halfrauds is selling gastrol magnatec for 17.50 where as I have got my hands on some from eurocarparts for 15 quid thought this was worth noting before any one let halfords get hold of there hard earned cash.
-
Here's a couple of pic of the 288 calipers before they go on, have had them shot blasted and sprayed them silver using halfords caliper paint to keep them looking new and standard! Just hope the paint last as they have come up well.
-
Have a lot of work planned for the c, have some refurbed 288 brakes to install also a load of polybushes to fit to sharpen everything up. I'm considering coilovers but still a little undecided on what to get as want to be able to adjust the dampening wiltshire roads may not have speed cameras but they ain't smooth either! While I have the suspension off is there any jobs worth doing while having the shocks and wish bone off?
-
Wish I had kept my rx's silver as standard just , but if you want them dark do the centers and keep the lips silver for some contrast.
-
Like those wheels alot! And to be honest the ride height looks ok
-
I have seen those seat belts when the corrado was first reviewed on tv . Did any UK models have them as an option?
