  1. Yep from what I remember it was low had some kind of side skirt body kit on it with some Crystal rear lights. Also know its not a dub but spotted a black ferrari 599 on the road, then had it go past my house an hour later as i was tinkering with my car. Never been to keen on ferrari but I'm now converted absolutely gorgeous car.
  2. Seen a red one at the Studley cross roads between calne and chippenham at around 5pm. also spotted a black g60 at the back of chippenham high street.
  3. I have had many calls from these guys always say they have been told there is an error or virus on your computer concerning windows 7 I f can be bothered I string them along for twenty minutes then explain I have an imac and no windows 7 to there disappointment, one guy hang up then call me back to insult me! Made my day the number has always been with held when I have been called.
  4. Might just be interested I was going to refurb my 15 speedlines and fit them with new tyres but these look rather good. Do you know what et the original speedlines are and can you get these one done in 5 stud also?
  5. Just watched tron legacy. Considering its been so long since the original it picks up in the right place and continue's with a good pace worth a watch.
  6. Definitely a nice touch I prefer the second badge. looks more like it was meant to be there as standard.
  7. Simillar to you I'm 30 have 6 years no claims. I use Adrian flux pay $350 a year would be 290 but I have unlimited mileage and it a classic car policy so suprised its so high for you could be on location but can't see it making that much difference. Try mentioning the best quote you can get when you phone the insurance bods, play them against each other some of them bite and can be quite competotive, even to the point of twisting the truth a little (lie) about what other companies have offered you. as long as you get a certificate of insurance stating what they have given you its legal.
  8. Nice find with the reservoir mine has warped from getting to hot. Have you tried and tested it yet?
  9. I'm not going to say a definate the Sunday is my b-day so not to sure what I'm doing, that's also the weekend of the scumrun and I might be getting involved with that. With regards to the show we have the heddington and stockley steam rally near us and its has plenty a vehicles old and new there so definitely worth a gander.
  10. Your right and all . Cleaned the screen with a bit of spit and polish and the date is there clear as day!
  11. All depends when it is I might be being blind but can't seem to spot a date on the link.
  12. Ok cool! That is rather trick it has to be said. And fair play for keeping your radio alive always love seeing fresh paint.
  13. anything stolen gets sold for a fraction of the price! Just seems so pointless. Had my old golf broken into a few years back being a some what heavy chain smoker at the time my car was littered with easily a hundred empty backy pouches mainly piled up in the passenger foot well! Now this little Einstein removed the rear window and removed every single bit of used smoking products I had and quite simply walked away with a load of rubbish and cleaning my car in the process. I really do think its evolution taking a step back
  14. Think i might go for the uniroyals , feel I'm better off having more grip when the road conditions are worse. Plus they are cheaper than the michelins ,will just have to see if they last as long. Cheers Ben
  15. I'm replacing the rubber on my speedlines soon, currently have michelin exalto 2 on them and grip very well in the wet, have continental sport 2 on my other set and find these perfom better in the dry. Have been recommended uniroyal but don't know much about them except they are owned by continental. Have any of you used all 3 of these so I can gauge a comparison.
  16. All ready have a ticket on its way so best put my name down.
  17. You really need to go see them in the flesh to build up an idea of what you get for your $. Have a look s the buyers guide it should explain where you normally find rust on a c.
  18. So sorry bud! Such a nice car aswell
  19. Didn't realise it was xbox only guess Sony owners have granny tourism 5 to play on.

  21. I first thought the title was a little over the top not knowing what the thread was about! Seeing the damage. Kill away
  22. For 300 that's almost pocket change worth throwing some cash at it, my dads mk1 golf has green fuzz growing on it and its still on the road so there's always hope.
  23. Fair play for taking on a car that's been stood for so long! A lesser mortal might of scrapped it. Nice colour and plate look forward to more updates.
  24. I had a mk2 for five years was 1.3 4 gear but still a joy to drive, handled well and and with a 190K on the clock the body was still solid, uprate a few parts whack in a vr spot on, think you would be mad not to have it also considering a gti goes for the same price.
