  1. Hi do you still have the tailgate? i am looking for one with zero or repairable amount of rust around the number plate light and if possible would you post. Cheers Ben
  2. Unless you have seriously tricked out the engine with mapping, shiny bit or some forced induction i would stick with the standard breaks as there not that bad and keep the c looking how you want it.
  3. If you could find a picture of the fitments on the car they came out of, it might give you an idea of how to go about it. Sure a few people have gone for porsche seats before so someone is bound to pipe up with something useful. But any how nice choice on the seats.
  4. Nice to see another dragon green, the steels make it a very sleek looking car.
  5. Blue storm near Gloucester town centre around 3pm yesterday looked rather tidy.
  6. Corrado's are what i think is a proper drivers car, with it that low and the tyres and arches so close you hit a bump at any speed something bad is going to happen, it will effect how much you enjoy the car and how you can drive unless going slow in a car park is your thing. To make it more practical and driveable your going to have to throw a little more cash at it. G60 or VR6 3k will get you a nice example with 1k left to make it yours.
  7. just last sunday setting off for work my c got 5 meters car stalled then wouldn't start, battery was flat got my brother to come out with jump leads started to line it up with his car as i pushed it back, the door swung out scraped the paint down the side of is van and off my door, with him watching and both vehicles having just been sprayed, damn what a s**t start to the day.
  8. I cant say i know enough about a turbo setup with issues to really risk something like this ,needs time and money and i would feel safer paying for a new setup you could be sure of. Just curious on others thoughts
  9. i will be getting there on the friday so no convoy for me but i will see you all on the stand saturday.
  10. It's little things like that ,that can just make your day, good find
  11. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2876190.htm dont know if this has been posted before or its anyone on here but seems a bit of a bargain, turbo kit must be worth more than that on its own! Saying that could be a ebay hong kong repo, if i was'nt a bit sceptical i would jump at this.
  12. Did this job not too long ago, found i couldn't get a grip big enough to fit round it, so all i did was gripped it with me hand to stop the plastic from twisting and using a socket or spanner can't remember, just tightened it slightly then un tightened repeating this until it came loose took ages and a bit of a beach but got there in the end. From what i recall a lot of wd40 also, hope this helps and ime sure there is an easier method but i will be all ears if you find it.
  13. Ok spent a whole week with out the car, im not a fan of public transport but needs must! Have to say im damn chuffed with the paint work i will be braving it and leaving the bump strips off for the time being. and here is a few pics of some fresh dragon green paint + about 3 hours of cleaning and waxing.
  14. Have just got back from the garage with a passed MOT the hazard lights when i got home were working so this is why i was scratching my head. Apparently the lights did not come on, on the offside when tested hence the fault. Dont know if its just one of those intermittent corrado things or the mot tester was having a bad day either way the car is ready for another year.\ Cheers for the help
  15. I think 45 on 16s is about as close as you can get to standard, its what i have got and theres no problem
  16. Well i will be going back in on monday, had my dad and a mate on the drive with all 3 of us scratching our heads it just dont make sense, guy in the garage said he would have to look at the car to find the fault, i really dont see one so what you said makes sense. Think they expected me to say carry on and you fix it $$$$$ Will report back on monday when a little more light is shed on the subject.
  17. They are flashing in sync as far as i can tell, i have just phoned the garage again to ask them and its a fault the computer came up with so its almost like they dont know either. I will check your suggestion so thanks for that just hope it works
  18. Just had the car in for the mot and has failed on the( offside hazard warning lamps not flashing in phase, with ignition on/off), now the lights work and when the ignition is on you get the clicking and when switching on the hazard lights they click also but i have noticed they dont click at the same time. Any one had this problem or know how to solve it as it all seems a little stupid to me. Cheers Ben
  19. Was going to add a few photos first, but being a computer tard i managed to mess that up
  20. Ok then been a while since i have added to a somewhat small thread and with a few changes the time has come. With the green machine starting to look a little tatty and the dreaded rust has started to pop up on the arches the car is going in for a partial respray, plus to hide a somewhat poor spray job i did myself on the bonnet. Its going in for spraying on the 9th of may so plenty of time to be ready for Bristol volksfest, i have taken off the side strips to save a little time but has got me thinking to leaving them off but a little unsure as it leaves the car looking a little bear me thinks.
  21. That looks very similar to the car on emergency bikers a couple of weeks ago, same colour and impact spot.
  22. Just signed up thought this would keep me preoccupied every sunday at work, rather than worrying about silly stuff like customers.
  23. Yep you can count me in, will probably sort my own ticket out but will be camping.
  24. Have to say dude the gold/green combo looks sweet go for it. Fresh rims new rubber always looks good but wether your getting new tyres or not i would get lepsons to change the tyres as they did with mine and they take good care of them unlike kwikfit who scratched my rims 3 months later.
