Right boys and girls! Just a brief description of the process involved for cleaning the upholstery that I've adopted. I've tried the fabric cleaners and the like and they never seem to do the job, so I managed to get a loan of a new Aqua Vac. Pics bellow of before and after the cleaning of a 15yr old drivers seat. I have to say, i was very impressed with the results! :D

Brilliant!! thanks Dragon :) .... "Thagon"

You mean the leather slips off or the handle pulls off the lever? I tried to pull the handle off but it wouldn't budge...

We did a Xmas special... But it wasn't that special! I might post it up anyway... Just for giggles. I think it will be allot more structured than the last one (well...kinda), but with Cath doing her degree and me with my work we havn't had the time to produce any more jingles, loops or Stings etc... -
I have some more pictures of the cleaning process, I would post them up now but i've had to go to work.... :( But while I'm here... I've got my hands on a original handbrake plastic cover (see pic)... does anyone know how i get the F'ing thing off without braking it? I'm at a loss... :confused4: images.jpg[/attachment:3sqp0687]

Hey hey! no sweat! I'll pop her in the post with all my love... Would you like the love? I have lots of love to give :luvlove:  -
I don't see why the you'd need to change anything to run the LPG? Just a map that worked with the fuel type should be fine... But you know, you don't get as big a kick from LPG

Those things sound NAff! Never get good quality from one of them. You'd be better off trying to get an input off the rear of the unit and feeding it though to the cubby hole under the heater controls.

Not to mention playing those new fangled "tape" contraptions

 :notworthy:

You talking about the HD feed? or Eddie... Cus without Dave C, Eddie wont be able to contradict anyone and will be, IMO, boring...

I'd be interested in trying the S-tronic dual-clutch transmision... having driven a Audi A3 Sportback Quattro I'd like to see how they have adjusted the frankly TERRIBLE gear changes and throttle pick-up! It felt like AGES before the clutch would engage from a standing start... a good 0.5sec or something. Ruined the driving experience for me to be honest.

So it was only J reg between 2003 and 2005?
-
if it was a J reg then it would be a 91-92 yeah? That would make it a normal VR6 wouldn't it? and not a storm

was in the pub wearing this t-shirt...CorrG60.jpg[/attachment:3r9occpi] patron: "That a corrado mate?" me: "Yeah" patron: "VR6 is it?" me: "not quite..." [turns shoulder to expose "G ladder" badge on sleeve] patron: "ahhh, G60 then yeah? always loved those cars..."

Alex, if it was me, I'd get the iron out the bumper, get the rust off with a wire brush on a drill, then see how much is left. You might find that with some hammerite smooth on it, you don't need to replace it. Worth a shot before you shell out for new iron? I considered that but there are some bits that are just all rust... No metal to polish back too. If the brackets are worth keeping then i might be able to reweld some new parts to the bumper iron... I'm going to get my existing bumper off too to see if i can use any of the bits off that one first. :)

Well google didn't bring anything up... I can get a reconditioned Rad from Volks-apart for £59...
-
wow... specialized or what!... I don't think i have one of them near me Sir Swift!
-
WOW.... Thats Amazingly expensive! Could i use a different Rad? Edit: Just looked on VAG cat... OEM rad part no. 535121251B is 225.5 Euro. Is that the right part? Just looked on VW classic.... 297.08 € (£247.80...) kinda out of my price range.

Ordered a new starter motor from ebay. Went to Vag first and got quoted £157 odd... so i said "screw you!" and went online and got it for £50. happy days! It says OEM in the advert so I assume its Bosch... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... SA:GB:1123

you referring to the Irwin Bolt removers? They have concentric spirals in the head of the sockets that grip rusted, painted over and rounded off bolts to allow you to take them off without drilling them. Great for old cars :salute:
