  1. You think those are aluminium blocks or steel?
  2. 4. Ahhh, i get it so it's 1 per month, 2 per month or 5 per month... I thought it was 5 months and then would have to renew! lol Anywho, I've now renewed my subscription :thumbleft: (paypal cancled it when my card expired) Top Job Andi!
  5. why can't I post GRR! Edit: that was the 3rd post i tried to put up.... anyhoooo. There is a limited 1.8t C for sale already and it's going very cheep. Look in the for sale section if your interested. As for the mileage issue, you'll find the 1.8v are great compared to other C's but against other modern cars they're still not that good, and like Corozin says, heavy feet wont help with a turbo on... I'd be tempted to get a second Car :)
  6. I can't post onto this thread... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?53909-1.8t-Converted-Corrado-s Says it needs to be checked by an admin... but it's not in the sales section? have i been naughty or something? All my posts seem to come back with that! Also, where is the section for making monthly donations? I can see the how to make one off to 6 month donations but I'd rather just have £££ coming out of paypal every month. Thanks Andi Edit: It seems to be working now... :/
  7. not off hand... the Bosch part number is 0221503003 if that helps.... EDIT: a quick look on google brought this up... I'd still check with a distributor though as to the part number... http://www.ignitioncarparts.co.uk/PartLists.aspx?PerformSearch=manufacturercode&SearchValue=0221503003 EDIT: this one says saxo and is the same part... I'm not one hundred percent though http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-106-COIL-PACK-1-1-CITOREN-SAXO-306-/220739118931?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item336513a753
  8. Look in the for sale section, theres a limited addition 1.8t going very cheep just now :)
  9. £45 to any forum member plus £5 postage (so about £5 discount :) ) check it out http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260739134069 :smug:
  10. buy this one! It's a F'in BARGAIN! http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?53137-G60-Jet-lhd-special-edition-1.8T-conversion-for-sale
  11. Keep it clean girls... He did ask you nice, start your own thread if you have a question.
  12. I wouldn't mind going to a Rado meet... I might be driving a French car though! LOL
  13. is there a reason all my posts are being checked by a MOD prior to me posting?
  14. go with a crome paint or powder coat mate. Electroplating plastic is not simple as Gloster0x said. For a badge the paint looks fine.
  15. looks a little odd on my phone after i log in... better than tapatalk though EDIT: Here... a little cramped i think.
  16. I'd leave the hoses... They wont improve your braking performance much. I'd wait till your existing hoses need replacing before spend money on that sort of thing. If the bleeding doesn't work then I'd get new pads.... And if your still not happy then uprate the disks to larger ones... 280mm g60 ones I think are a straight swap. :) And yeah... Sorry for the confusion but the GSF ones are pants... the Brembo disks will be as good (if not better) than OEM! soz
  17. Get a brake bleeding kit from halfords for about £10 and do it yourself. You'll need a 11mm (i think) spanner and some patience. Goes quicker with two people though.. check this out http://www.carbasics.co.uk/how_to_bleed_car_brakes.htm And i wouldn't bother with the GSF brake disks... they're made of cheese.
  18. g60 280mm disks on the front would help... but if they're really bad then I would check that when they fitted the new ones they bleed the brakes correctly.... air pockets would monkey your braking.
  19. I know.. i know I forgot!
  20. Oh yeah! good Point... The plugs need to go in the same points that they came out of else the engine wont run properly
  21. No worries mate... I think it's just a straight swap. No special training required :D
  22. I was thinking of buying this as well TBH... But I also need to replace the PAS Pipes as mine are leaking.. I have a replacement Steering Rack off an old G60 but is it a problem to use the 16v support panel? I have no problems cutting or drilling it to fit the power steering rack... so long as it bolts on to the car without to much fuss. :)
  23. Mine certainly does at any rate... Thanks Yan, looking at another Corrado being broken on SVAG but she's a 16V so thought I'd better ask :)
  24. My dog Minton ate a shuttle cock... Bad Minton
