  1. I believe so mate, it's dan at Devon dub shack that is selling it. Rog.
  2. Awful news, I'll be keeping a south west eye out for this. Rog.
  3. Look really good in the car mate, that colour dye has worked a treat. Rog.
  4. I could be interested Rob, are they the heko ones?? Rog.
  5. No probs mate, glad you got it sorted. Rog.
  6. Unplug the rear lights (each one in turn) and see if your fault goes, that way you can find out if it's an earth in one of your clusters. Another thought, have you recently replaced any of the bulbs, the brakes use a dual filament lamp and if it's replaced with a normal single filament lamp it can cause problems. Rog.
  7. Probably got some water in one of the rear lights. It's shorting out the brake circuit to the side light circuit. Rog.
  8. Stunning, out of interest what colour is it? Rog.
  9. Evening chaps, The other day I was up at the Devon Dub Shack and Dan asked me if I was interested in a 90mm front splitter. I've already got one but thought someone on here may want one. It's in fairly good condition but does have two small cracks in it, one and each end. Dan wants £50 for it, if anyone is interested I can go up and get some more pics etc. Rog.

Mine had it fitted by the previous owner. TBH I'm thinking of taking it off, the lights on the C are poor at the best of times so covering them with tinted plastic can't help. Rog.
  11. I'm liking those seats, very nice, I know what you mean about Recarro's, I had them in my DC5 Integra and while they are very supportive they are just not that comfortable on a long journey, the leather seats in my storm are the best seats I've ever sat in, so comfortable. I can't car manufacturers use steel for their brake pipes, there must be a reason but why the hell didn't they use copper in the first place. Rog.
  12. Spotted today in the car park at Laira Rail Depot in Plymouth. Lovely condition with a CCGB sticker in the back. It's the first Corrado I've seen since I've had mine. Rog.
  13. Might as well since I spend most of my time lying under that bloody dog VR Andy sold me....lol Seriously though, I in no way blame Andy for any of the problems I've had, I genuinely believe he sold me the car in good faith and I've just been a bit unlucky. Rog.
  14. Car is definitely savable, personally I reckon the insurance has seen a 20 year old car and written it off without realising the true value. I don't think you should settle for anything under 2.5k, when they make you an offer use this forum and autotrader etc to prove that you can't get a car in simular spec to yours for less, they should up their offer... never except the first offer. I think this could work in your favour, like has been said above it can probably be fixed for £500, that should leave a nice tidy sum for your gearbox conversion plans. Good luck. Rog.
  15. They are always popping up on ebay, that's where I got mine from. Just make sure you get the right size.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMC-cda-carbon-air-filter-induction-system-Golf-VR6-V6-V8-honda-bmw-etc-/191100964417?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c7e814e41 Rog.
  16. Just noticed that you drove to Exeter to meet up with the new owner, any idea where the new owner lives, be good to have another C in the South West. Rog.
  17. Welcome Chris, good bunch of lads on here, very helpful. Good luck with your hunt, BTW where abouts in the country are you? Rog.
  18. I blame the previous owner, think I've bought a ringer... ;) :)
  19. Now I know there was 500 Storms made but the other day I got to wondering how many are left and how many there are on this forum... So, lets see many there are. I'll go first. 1. Mystic Blue - Roger Chatfield
  20. mmm bit close to national day for me, are there any other plans for Castle Combe this year?? Rog.
  21. Took mine for a test drive after replacing the big end shells and fell back in love with it... (last week I was ready to burn the bloody thing...lol) Rog.
  22. Anyone else watching this.... I just had to walk out the front room, I can't watch any more of it, how the hell can one person be so thick....
  23. As far as I know the timing is bang on, I made myself a cam locking tool and the bottom end was at TDC. Rob, the ticking disappears after about 10 mins, once warm it purrs like a pussy cat. Rog.
