  1. DG Autotech are great - very honest chaps, Corrado owners, enthusiasts and forum members too
  2. Early start tomorrow then! Those rural roads can a bit slow. Interested to hear the results as I've often thought about an engine transplant but been worried about smaller details being an issue.
  3. all the dropped hints for machine polishers and Senna dvds have fallen on deaf ears!
  4. Sadly an open envelope in a Royal Mail plastic bag - but 3 rollers in there. So if there any spares I would be interested in one more at cost plus P&P.
  5. 50mm and 90mm are the VW standards or the middle ground is serviced by http://spoonfedtuning.myshopify.com/products/corrado-70mm-urethane-front-lip
  6. Sell him yours Digger. If I could afford it I'd buy it myself!
  7. I've got a Clifford alarm - pressing two buttons together puts it in and out of valet mode which stops it auto arming. (I have no button on the side but wouldn't push it even if I did!)
  8. 3.2 R32 Engine code 'BUB comes complete with: Alternator, PAS Pump, A/C Pump and hoses, Starter Motor, Secondary air pump, Coolant hoses (£1750) http://www.r32oc.com/sale/38324-mk5-r32-engine-gearbox-suspension-diff-loom-exhaust-ecu-brakes-etc.html Not mine but would like it to be but no expertise to fit it. :bonk:
  9. I thought that (purple candle) was some sort of photgraphic equipment! (Should have gon to SpecSavers!)
  10. Take it through the 80k mile barrier (only a couple of hundred to go) and maybe buy a machine polisher to make it more shiny! Perhaps take it to the National Day at Brooklands.
  11. I like the first picture as there are no foot prints just tyre tracks
  12. Can't wait to see the installation guide, although it'll probably confirm to me I should not try this without a grown up on hand!
  13. Not a problem to me mate - thanks for sorting this out and sorry if you have been left out of pocket.
  14. Spotted by my parents who are in their 70s but are serial VW owners (currently Golf Plus and Passat Estate), a Yellow G60 parked outside a house in Bookham. They mention it often and say it is a lovely looking thing.
  15. Not quite as impressive as the Top Gear Polar Challenge where I first saw this technique.
  16. I hope the all red rears don't lead to this accident being the fault of the Corrado driver in the eyes of the law / insurance people.
  17. It will be a long week waiting, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. Looks like a lovely example.
  18. Adrian Flux - £2,960!! - At least Dick Turpin wore a mask . . . .
  19. Don't blame you - I'm tempted myself as I have a VR6 and the wife has a Mk5 R32 . . . .
  20. There seem to be lots of people doing between 1 and 28 day cover but these people (http://quote.ecarinsurance.co.uk) do a monthly pay as you go option. Not used it or read much about it. Reminds me to renew my insurance this week!
  21. Give him first refusal and no hard feelings if he wants it.
  22. I'll take it please! EDIT - Hang on - Does StueyB have first refusal on this?
  23. WTF? Is it still attached to another Corrado?
