    Have lashed out the cash on a G220 polisher (early birthday present to myself) and have seen people using detailing tape to either mask off windscreen washer jets and similar) or just divide panels into manageable chunks. Question is can you use normal masking tape or does that stick to the paintwork in a nasty fashion? :scratch:

    Spent £89.95 on the VR6 yesterday - filling it up with petrol! This is getting silly! :bonk: Still agonising over getting a dual action polisher but not sure what approach to take on pads and compounds.

    Hi Alex - I still have the envelope and the RM plastic bag they put around it which says we can return it to them to try and track stuff down - not sure they'll find one small white bit of plastic. Just let me know if you want these as part of your quest. I have three rollers and neither window is especially rattly so I'm not too concerned overall.
