ok it was dodgy wiring to the idle stabilizer valve, inside the rubbe bit that covers the plug the wiring fell apart and disconnected. =-/ all is well now.

sometimes I have that at 3500 I have a 65mm pulley so it would make sense for mine to be lower, it just that torque climb you are feeling...

I have an ISV reroute so I dont worry if Im bleeding cause I get it back anyway, um just clean it with carb cleaner? I thought u already did that tho...

now what you have to do is get different colored bumpers like my car so no one vandalizes it, no one touches my car because of its exterior but little do they know under the bonnet is something that will smack their honda out of the water.

dizzy and ISV is all I can think of for that, boost leak? I know I got one somewhere you can hear it as you get on the fast road =-(

passenger side axle, dizzy, fuel lines, fuel pump, master cylinder, front & rear discs, rear bearings, (all of the body except the bonnet and drivers wing), metal coolant pipe, header (which I need), brake lines, and battery. yeah I think thats it, I had to think pretty hard to get those out too, if its not on this list its either newish or has been rebuilt at least once, replaced the tranny twice in 2 years hahaha, Im on my 3rd now. wow this car eats me alive...

pour some oil out and see if it smells like gas, if yes then its overfilled, or just check it using the dipstick and smell that oil to see if it smells like gas.

nah I got a dizzy laying around here somewhere, after I started replacing everything I thought it might be nice to have an extra just laying around so I could replace it if needed.

ok so driving home this morning from the beach, 5 am.... I noticed that my car had no idle! amazing isnt it! it just didnt idle, then magically it did after revs, what the car would do was drop to 50 rpms yes fifty then the battery light would come on, I would rev and the rpms would go up battery light would go off. after driving for 5-10 mins more I came to another stop and the idle would be there, till I revved it slightly just blipped it to 3k rpms and then the idle wasnt there again... =-/ riiiight.. idle stabilizer valve? or anyone got anything better... like my failing dizzy...? I JUST GUTTED THE CATALYTIC CONVERTED TODAY FYI, dont think this has anything to do with it tho. any my dizzy has been backfiring my car for days, month about, the hall sender is going... I have confirmed it... but would this cause no idle...?

do G60's smell that bad without the catalytic converter honeycomb being there? I have heard this to be true of V8 engines cause they dont burn all the fuel, so will a proper tuned G60 not smell? porsches dont have catalytic converters.. =-/ older ones that is and they dont smell.

If you wind the idle down the the very base of the screw it only sits at 750 rpms, this is where mine is at. Yes the G60 limp mode is a thing that all of us hate and it does cause the same conditions as described, I thought this was my problem too but negative I was, sorry mates. ure power should be really funky with a bad voltage regulator tho, like REALLY funky intermittent and whatnot.

ok so I have to tell you something that you wont like, when you replaced the bolt and the crank pulley it didnt get tightened correctly....to the full amount of load it should have, or didnt get the lock stuff on it, you have either sheared the key on the gear off or the crank pulley is loose, your timing is off 180 degrees. I am going to presume that your idle sat about 500 before it died? mine did this once... bad times, now the even more bad news, you might have bent valves, bentley says G60 is non interference engine however they were incorrect in their presumptions... its interference and you can bend the valves, ask henny, he did it. what you need to do: take off the gear, look at the key for it, if its worn or sheared then you need to get a new one (20 UK pounds roughly). get the thing put on at a shop with an air impact driver at 75 ft/lbs not the 60 they tell you to put it at. make sure they use thread lock, once again IM stressing the fact that this HAS happened to you no matter what you think, YOU NEED TO TAKE THIS PULLEY OFF! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD JUST LISTEN TO ME! if not you can just put it back on no problems but I know this is the problem, another presumption I am going to make is that your car drove like crap the night before? thats cause your timing was retarded =-). the problem we are having here is timing, anything related with timing, check all you timing belt driven components, make sure the secondary shaft isnt sheared or the woodruff key isnt missing from either the sec shaft or the camshaft, I still think its the crank gear cause its most likely of the 3 to fail, I have had this issue happen to me and it took 30 hours of a VW master tech to find it, 30 hours, GUESS HOW MUCH THAT COST!!!!!!!!! I was there for 15 of the hours when we tried to figure it out! fecking ridiculous. all for a 35 dollar US part with some thread lock and a 2 dollar bolt =-/.. JUST DO IT!

fan = brand new temp senders are new too, The dizzy needs to be replaced and than Im going to do the expansion tank and the cap, would a bad dizzy cause lean running?

im going to replace the expansion tank and cap with VAG parts, being that its coming out of the tank when it overheats and no where else. heater matrix was done 10k ago, its ok. plus I think Im running lean when it gets cold outside instead of rich =-/ somehow.... AFR says lean...

ok I have replaced everything in the coolant system but this, car still overheats. does the metal pipe that runs from the side of the head to the front of the engine have a valve of some sort valve in it?

oh yeah, well I have a tornado red one with black leather interior... in reality the first 500 are the corrados you want, all handmade, all superbly trimmed, some very nice colors in the first 500 too, non standard corrado colors that is.
