um yeah, time it using the marks, remember the firing order is 1-3-4-2, kinda messed up on that today... =-/

if you have aftermarket mirrors on you corrado I would like it if you would post a pic of them on here and name what they are and where you got them, I am looking into getting mirrors but I need to know which ones to get, I really really want the ones from the new RS4 but those would run me zillions.

you know my pedal roughness changes, I prefer the harder throttle though when it comes around, its much more of a feel thing I guess, I wear pilotis so anything that helps me feel more = better.
-
cause whatever it is stops sticking =-)P just on an off topic, I WISH THE PEOPLE WHO DESIGNED THE BENTLEY PUT IN THE PISTON ORDER ON A G60, THOUGH IT SHOULD BE COMPLETELY OBVIOUS ON ITS OWN, cylinder 1 is nearest to the timing belt.

yeah ours was in 92 as well, anyone got a semi faded front tornado red VR6 bumper?
-
http://www.bahnbrenner.com/media/php/ca ... &catid=251 dunno if that will work for your car, I imagine that it will tho.
-
nevermind, now I did

make sure that all the other marks are lined up, cam and crank, then position the little notch on the top of the oil pump, you can see it if the dizzy is out. make it horizontal, like the engine, transverse so to say, then put the dizzy in, you should be able to adjust where the notch on the dizzy is by twisting as to get the timing right. yes that pulley is for the alternate shaft, drives the dizzy.

Im thinking of converting the front end of my corrado to a VR6 front bumper and assembly, how hard is it to do and does anyone have any angled shots of what their VR6 looks like from the side? the angle on the fog lights is drastically different than a G60, thanks. all I need is the bumper right? and the fogs I know

well. what are you looking for exactly? want more turbo kits for newer VR6 engines? just buy the HGP one, I mean it works right?
-
how much?
-
to quote myself, "its eaton driven", 3 posts up fellas

ok just got to say this is the sexiest thing ever, I have been developing on my own a combination supercharger turbo which I am glad they didnt use, Im still in business for now! the sad part is that unlike the corrado, their supercharger is magnetically operated kinda like a mercedes benz,(wouldnt be surprised to see the same charger there either), its eaton driven, that means crank pulley will be needed for the boost to be lifted a bit. the turbo will be easily swapped out, why transplant when you can get in one and drive it! there is a 4-motion in europe that is coming out, this will be my car, Im telling you now, once it hits the states, its minE!

-
just buy one of these for crist sake! http://www.radtec.co.uk/gallery.php?category=2 the one for the golf fits into the corrado
-
wow thats a lot of work.... good on you
-
and is there some control system I can get for a G60? red layover or something
-
brilliant... think I will too
-
ok remind me never to sit near kev at the next meet... :-D
-
right but henny you have a 2.0 L 8V g60, once you go bigger valves like he is planning the idle will be lumpier or so I have been told by people here. I have a cam and my idle is lumpier than crap
-
yeah I can say that if you took a V8 and cut it in half and made it rev about 1500 rpms is what mine sounds like at idle... burly...
